Re: More nerfs... and other changes.

It's ironic how Locks are really strong now, I believe it was Cata that they got nerfed pretty bad.

A fun place to chat about hunter pets in the World of Warcraft.

C'mon guys, ask WHY they're making hunters wet noodles in PvE....AdamSavage wrote:They have an upcoming ask the Dev's Questions.

Yeah pretty much... Funny how they nerf us hard, and then don't even have the courage to own up to it. That's something the Government would do.Nevish wrote:"Ask us questions! Just not questions asking about how we'll be detrimentally nerfing your class so you won't be able to enjoy the game anymore."
Because if they answered truthfully, it would be something along the lines of "A hunter killed my warlock in a battleground."Nevish wrote:"Ask us questions! Just not questions asking about how we'll be detrimentally nerfing your class so you won't be able to enjoy the game anymore."
To be fair, those are MMO-Champ's words, not Blizz's. It's perfectly reasonable for them to try to focus the questions that are going to be asked.AdamSavage wrote:Yeah pretty much... Oh, yeah, I don't hold it against MMO Champ personally for not wanting to deal with class nerf backlash, but the recurring thing with Blizz as of late is "we're gonna do this, you have no say in it, and if you provide concrete evidence that we're going overkill during PTR testing, we're going to ignore you."Slickrock wrote:To be fair, those are MMO-Champ's words, not Blizz's. Unfortunately, the devs have gone mostely silent the past few days, I'm guessing something to do with the security issues.
They may of gotten away with that in the past, but the overall tolerance and attitude of the player base has changed. Years of consistent up and down buffs and nerfs takes a toll on people, and eventually you ask to ask. When do you draw the line, and say enough is enough. Each Quarter report that come out, shows a steady decline in subscriber base. That's only people with active accounts. Not counting the ones that only logg in once every week or so.Nevish wrote:Oh, yeah, I don't hold it against MMO Champ personally for not wanting to deal with class nerf backlash, but the recurring thing with Blizz as of late is "we're gonna do this, you have no say in it, and if you provide concrete evidence that we're going overkill during PTR testing, we're going to ignore you."
"Unless your main is a mage. We love you guys. Have more buffs."

Such as it was in Vanilla when BM hunters were laughed at I will not stop playing my hunter the way I want to. I will do as I always do and figure out what my strengths are and continue to enjoy a game that I have for so long. I will stop playing this game when it is no longer fun for me to play, not when changes such as these are implemented, but thats just how I look at it.
Me too. Even at my lowest low point in WoW there was something fun to look forward to I'd log in for, and there's plenty of that still.cowmuflage wrote:Valfreya wrote:After 8 years of playing a hunter, changes such as these is nothing new. Same I just go with the flow. really that's how I roll when I play MMO's.
If that's your interpretation of an active sub, it's quite incorrect.AdamSavage wrote: Each Quarter report that come out, shows a steady decline in subscriber base. That's only people with active accounts. Not counting the ones that only logg in once every week or so.
