Well, back when Chromaggus was first made tameable, Chrom was soloable, yes.... but the *first* boss of the dungeon was not. So you had to get through a totally un-soloable boss before you could get to Chromie.

Therefore, think we can use this argument on Noah? That getting *to* him and surviving long enough to tame without having to solo-kill would be good enough to allow him to be a tameable creature?

Honestly, I wouldn't want to tame him my own self; I'd be making the argument for others. *My* hydra is the silver and aqua ones rfom Sholazar. <3

I have a probably unpopular opinion. But I don't think that's a good argument. Getting to him and taming for 5 seconds is relatively trivial. Getting to him and killing him solo (which is what I understood the open challenge to be) is, well, a challenge. I don't like the idea of a whole community saying, "no, we give up without even trying, give it to us anyways".

I'm not sure what y'all are worried about. Magmaw and Omnotron are both soloable now. Chimaeron's "kill you ability" doesn't trigger at the start of the fight. Chimaeron is soloable, albeit not as easily.

Of course, all you need to do is stay alive until the first Feud and then it should be an easy tame.

Not unless Beth'tilac's suddenly become tameable, which is unlikely due to that model being partially humanoid.

I wonder if the tame will have something to do with his heads. like maybe you have to tame both of them in a certain way/window of opportunity and if you get it wrong, one head will free the other from the tame. that would be cool.

Seems a bit too over complicated to me. I don't want my tames to be impossibly hard.

You will have to engage him, then kill all of the other bosses in the circle, including Nefarian, and then he becomes tameable

That would be insane. Imagine taming him and one head just hangs there limp or as you implied, attacks the other one.

Two hunters in a party: each one having to tame one head at the same time.

... ... actually that would be kind of awesome.

@Zamochy Since Hydras will be tameable, is there any chance Chimearon will be tameable as a Hydra?
