No invite for me. I'm really not expecting one though even though I am opted in. However, they did say that the first invites would be for WoW veterans and I'm certainly one of those.

I just wish I could play. QQ

Between the game crashing every 30s and the overclocking of my CPU... I want to but I don't want to chance it... I'll try with the next build, maybe they'll have fixed the cpu leak by then.

I got into beta! Gamespot had a giveaway today at 2 pm, and I as well as quite a few others managed to snag an invite. Tried grabbing extras for a few other people who I knew wanted in, but sadly only managed one. MMORPG.com is having a giveaway sometime this week too though, for those who still need an invite. It's free, first come first serve, but no time and date yet...

Are they gonna be giving out a new wave at some point?

This for me. I've been playing since 04 and I still have no invite. Yet almost all of my WoW friends are now in the beta.

That's a shame There are some prominent Petopia names that haven't got an invite yet, but hopefully they will. Then again, we already got more invites than I would have expected. Certainly more than previous betas (except for Cata). At least it feels that way. But I know that's of no consolation to anyone who hasn't received one yet.

Well MMORPG.com announced a time for their giveaway. Tomorrow (7/3/14) at 4pm and 7pm PST (7pm - 10pm EST). So if you still need an invite make sure to keep an eye on that site!

I'll try and snag a few even if I don't need one myself now, so I can give it to some friends of mine, as well as petopians that still need one

I can't even play. NEvermind the CPU thing... I can stay connected for about 45sec and then the game crashes.

I have a beta invite, but I got to one quest called The Home of the Frostwolves and it won't let me advance. No matter what i do, I get teleported back to the dark portal. How can I beta test if I can't play.

Umm, that IS beta testing Dewclaw. Beta testing isn't just about playing the game, its about looking for errors and reporting them, giving feed back on the new mechanics, that sort of thing.

So if you are encountering an error like that, report it in detail, and then move on to something else, it could be that during their many patches, something wasn't carried over or it hasn't been completed yet. Beta is not a full complete game, its a work in progress.

Ask other beta testers if they have encountered these errors and if so what did they do to maybe get around it.

Makoes, I reported it last week. I wish I could think of something else to do but I get teleported and can't progress. I was really wanting to try taming some new stuff. I see screenies here of beautiful places to explore and all sorts of neat stuff and I'm stuck in a groundhog day on one of the intro quests.

I understand it's beta. I'm just grumpy. One of the kitties at the vets office I work at was hit by a car yesterday. Been crying all day and just want to get my mind off things.

I can't play at -all-. So there's that, I guess. I keep hoping they'll push a build that is unbroken enough to even play.

Looks like they sent out another wave recently. I didn't have Beta access, but when I checked my BNet today it said that I could install Beta and sure enough my page says I've got access--downloading it now, though it'll take forever until it's optimal.

Still, pretty sweet I'm psyched. Gotta see if I remember how to transfer characters over to Beta again.

If it's any consolation, there's currently only two zones open, with very few beasts tameable, and still frequent crashes. And the zones are probably going to change quite a bit before release.

Hopefully you, and some other regular Petopians, will get invites by the time there's more open. Cross fingers anyway.

Niche or not, at least we'd be doing some real work there. Pets won't tame themselves, you know...
