Pound pets have 6 rl days before they can be sent back I think.

I have two adults that are looking for homes, black dragon and a bad skewbald unicorn, they're both in the "No Group" section

Congratulations on your first deviant, Nef!

I agree with others here. I don't mind the once a day pound thing at all, but I hate not being able to see stats and it really sucks that you can't send pets straight back to the pound if you find they're terrible. Stable space is limited as is and then you're stuck with a bunch of animals you don't even want.

Since I still can't expand my stables, I got rid of my first pet today. Spectre, the female from my tutorial pair, was sent off. I also sort of wish we could just "exalt/delete" pets we'd not want to saddle on others. I guess you can do that with a special building (state portal thingy, I think) , but it'll be long before I get that far. I feel sorry for whoever ends up picking her from the pound, because she's really useless.

Anyhow, Aurelia grew up and is luckily not as crap as her mother (and a prettier colour too).
Image

My Symurgh pair had twins, Tempest and his nameless (for now) brother.

I realised I hadn't used my magic bomb, so sent out an expedition and then promptly forgot about it until I logged in and found Wisdom here in my stables. I hope he gets better stats than two out of the three I have tamed in the wild so far.
Image

And finally, I adopted this pretty girl from the pound today and promptly found out how useless she is. I really like Throdamas, but this lady is not going to be a breeder/keeper for sure. She came named as Keeper of the Meadow.

I actually traded a stables level 2 blueprint for 2 vermillion (I have a pile of the stuff thanks to constant exploring), but I still need a bit more clay and a pet with 60 constitution before I can build it. I hope it will be today or tomorrow, with a bit of luck!

As for the pup-chicks, one of them I'm keeping and the other is spoken for, but as soon as I expand my stables I can breed the parents again and if I am happy to part with the baby (likely) I can send him/her to you. :)

I'm trying my best to make sense of the game. I have horrible memory fog and couldn't remember most of what I had learned from the tutorial.

The exploration part reminds me a lot of playing old school Legend of Zelda or Final Fantasy.

The peacock/dog beasts are called symurghs, Tarn. :)

Finally got to bring Ebony here home today, and I absolutely adore him:

I think I'm doomed to end up collecting at least one Symurgh of every color. I love them all and they're my favorite beast by a mile.

Symurghs are really pretty :) I particularly like the fiery ones, especially white. Congrats Falcon!

Gilda had a little siamese girl today after her mysterious pregnancy

She's not got great stats but if anyone wants her let me know :)

I've also decided that I need a fox lykos.

Ohh that is an adorable hatchling!! Soo cute! I need to pass though.

I used 8 vermillions to research genes for Mr. Dent..

He came out with Poor hearing and a fragile horn :(

Image

He does have a green star in heritage .. but no idea what that mean. His Genetic Power is Grade 1 (Genetic Power gives +10 bonus to each characteristic for each Grade)

Im thinking of starting all over with alot of my pets.. im not super bound to any of them

I might keep Conan here which is a recently new purchase

Loving all of the beautiful creatures you guys are finding. :) Symurghs are definitely an awesome breed.

I really like the exploring aspect of this game. Keeps me pretty amused though I'm still trying to figure out stats, the best way to use them, and whatnot as I have one or two pets that consistently lose in battle. Might just end up having to replace them down the line I guess.

My mammal catcher came back with this handsome lad today.

Going to hold off naming him until I see what his stats are like once he's tamed. Hate the idea of naming something I might give away/sell since names are more permanent on this site.

Everyone's pets are lovely! Symurgh and griffin babies are definitely some of my favorite artwork. Vare, I'm tempted by your little cutie, but I'll hold off just incase someone else shows interest. :)

I went to the pound this morning with the intent on looking for a female kestrel morph griffin, but I walked out with Feng here instead:

Image

Her genes aren't anything to write home about, especially when compared to Vera's, but they could've been worse. I still love her. :)

I did an expedition this morning and my magic catcher caught these two:

Like I needed a third female roc, but she's one of my favorite colors, so she's definitely a keeper (for now at least.) Hopefully she and Arnora end up with better genes/stats than poor Samara ended up stuck with in the tutorial. At first, I was unsure about the cockatrice due to him being green (for some reason, I'm not too fond of some shades of green on this game) until I saw that he's striped. Not sure what to call him yet, but he'll be staying for a while.

Beautiful unicorns everyone! I have to agree that symurgh... chicks? Pups? Cubs? Babies. They're adorable :D
Falcon - Eee exactly the colour symurgh I'm most interested in. So pretty! Congrats on your new wildlings too. I didn't realise magic catchers can catch two pets at once. Also no one else has spoken up about the siamese girl so if you want her let me know :)

I finally got lucky with a catching expedition as my bird catcher brought home this lovely crow:

Yet another female

:O Omg she's so beautiful! A female gryphon for Fireball is something I'm lacking for now. xD Hoping to get a nice one for him soon.

Vare: I'll be happy to home her! :) Unlike on FR, though, pets can't be traded till they grow up, which is three days.

I finally got ten vermilion and used them all to research all of Ebony's genes. He turned out to be deaf. At least it has the benefit of granting immunity to shriek/roar, but still, grr..

My Jager is turning out with decent genes thankfully.

Windsor, on the other hand, has only eh genes. Guess that's the risk with pound rescues.

Thinking both of my white unicorns are turning out to be duds too as I learn more about genes and stats.

Falcon - Oh derp I hadn't noticed that D: Would explain a few things then xD

Tyger - Not bad, definitely could be worse :P *Stares at Ocean.*

In an attempt to understand potential deviance I bought two normal black dragons off the AH (I have not much money left whoops. No more catching expeditions for a bit) because gosh darn it I need myself a Ridley dragon. The girl came named as midnight (yup lower case m fml) and the male currently nameless.
ImageImage

And I managed to snag Amaterasu here from the pound. Love these colours and she has decent stats too
