Well, you never know. The fel basilisks are demons in a lot of places, but on Broken Shore (and the mining ones) they count as beasts.

New hunter pet family: Khadgarian

It is debatable whether that is simply a mechanic or something eithin the lore. Those that are labeled as Demons may have been corrupted so much that they are now demons (lore) or were just labeled such due to the area they are in (mechanics). Those found from mining or on the Broken Shore may be tainted/corrupted, but not enough to be made demons (lore) or were just labeled as beasts for whatever reason (mechanics).

Lol. Was made on reddit, I believe.

The warpstalker is likely an enemy in the 5 man dungeon, for those who were interested in it.

The final boss of the dungeon is a void corrupted naaru, and there's a lot of models for void corrupted things like tentacles and even alleria.

My money's on the warpstalkers being trash, or Alleria's pet.

I love alien-looking stuff, and this patch feels good. Talbuks don't look like trashy tiny technicolor horses, that Warp Stalker is absolutely amazing, and those fish cats are a welcome cat reskin. The one pet I'm REALLY wanting though is one of those Mana Rays; that orange one is absolutely awesome looking.

So far, my wishlist is as follows (priority based);
1. Orange Mana Ray
2. Tan Argus Talbuk
3. Blue and Orange fishcat
4. Green and Yellow Panthara Apex, seen on page 2 of the thread
5. The new Warp Stalker
6. Blue Ur'zul. Unlikely as all hell, but I can dream.

This expansion has been great for hunter pets, please let that trend continue!

Welp time to level up my Rangari Draenei and tame them alien beasts.

Ok I know it's said every patch, but this time I'm going to break protocol and say it.

MORE STABLE SLOTS BECAUSE I NEED EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE ALIENS AS PETS HOLY CRAP.

That or I need to level another Hunter and get her caught up for some Argus pets. A draenei Hunter would be perfect.

So awesome. I need some feasels.

Personally? I'm hoping for an adult Argi/Fel Version. Considering it obviously came from Argus. We could use more in the goat family.

I'm curious whether Argi is an actual creature within lore, or if it is just something Blizz created. They have said a few times before that many Battle Pets are non-canon.

Like a lot of stylized minipets, I guess Argi itself may be "not-quite-lore" but - also in the manner of many minipets - it could represent a chibi/minipet version of a far more realistic creature. So there could really be "space goats" Though clearly the pet was just created for the joke

OMG, Wain and I were just talking to about this last night.

There could have been a great opportunity for them to make a more adult Argi instead of the Arugus Talbuks, but then if you put them next to each other and squint...they kinda could be



I'm digging the new models for the Mana/Nether Rays, the Talbuk are actually neat, but yeah... I'm a little spent on talbuks. The Avatar Panther... while kinda cool, and while I quite like the colour ideas, the style is kinda too... cartoonish? for me, I can't quite put my finger on it. The Feasels are great, so glad they are exploring "otherworldly" options, you know, as it's a completely different world. The only limit for them in this is their imagination, off the chain should be compulsory That said, not sure if they potentially look dangerous enough to be a pet (for me at lesat), but then we have caterpillars, porcupines and Sporebats.... none of which look all too fierce

Maybe Argus talbuks could use a few chin tentacles, like Argi. It'd differentiate them more from the Draenor ones then, though maybe it's a bit silly? :/

Fun fact: I encountered Wain by complete chance in a World Quest group on the Broken Shore about a month ago.

Actually, when put up next to the Argus Talbuk, they do indeed look like a grown Argi. Neat.

Right now my *ONLY* hope for 7.3 pets is that those Feasels are tameable. Like, for real. I want a cute pet. ;-;
