Appears Hati is not going to die: Hati's Bond (New) Hati will now fight for you as a companion. 100 yd range. Labelled under Item Effects, which may indicate that after Titanstrike has expired Hati leaves something behind that will able you to call them again, maybe its soul?

If it is Hati's soul, then Hati does end up dying. It'll be interesting to see what happens

Pretty much. They either abide by the lore, which means that Hati would be killed when Titanstrike loses its power, or they retcon the lore to allow Hati to live.

Even if Hati dies, that doesn't have to be the end. We have spirit beasts, and if Hati's spirit coming back to walk around the Storm Peaks isn't fitting for both lore and taming, then I don't know what is. They could even take the Madexx approach with the multiple Hati skins available (although I don't know how well that was received). Hati and skoll as spirit beasts in Storm Peaks seems perfect to me, makes me wonder why they wouldn't go that route.

Maybe Hati's Bond is a glyph for Animal Companion or something ill fitting like that.

I wonder if the new Hatis Bond will be a new use for the Essence Swapper, since it won't have a use otherwise. But interesting to see! Hopefully Hati is back I definitely want my puppers back!

I was mainly refering to Hati dying, since there really isn't a way around that according to the lore. I completely agree with the idea of Hati potentially becoming a Spirit Beast, or having us tame the puppies of Hati.

Obvious thing i hope will happen i we hunters go to thorin on the mountain and we triggr a cutscene where we find hati with him. cut back phased area where you can tame hati (maybe select different collours first offcourse), Repeatable small scenario or offcourse triggered by an item.

I know we will hopefully see him tameable but i had to do this since i still got one day with him (eu boi).

Are you serious Hati could be a secret find in BFA?
I know on beta there were two of his dark blue models by a cave.

I think Hati being a secret has the potential to be awesome!

I would make sense to me if he is. BM hunters are the only class that doesn't have access to all our spec related appearances since Hati was tied to our appearances.

That poster is kinda cruel if he's not around though, but I'm going to start looking around.

checked ulduar and the storm peaks, saw nothing at thorim's tower, nothing at mimiron's tower and they didn't react to me after killing yogg

@Iowawolf That wolf was changed to a different model several weeks ago. It no longer uses the unused Hati variant.
