I wish we had even a teeny hint! 2 whole days and no leads, even the secret finders discord is looking. Maybe it really is some small hard to find item out in the world somewhere we have to pick up...

I don't understand why Blizzard even needs to do this. They're just Crawgs, not some mystical, unique pet with a rich storyline. They're corrupted frogs, wheee. I think Blizzard saw how excited we were for them and decided instead of just giving them to us, they're going to torture us. Somewhere out there there's some abstract plant we're going to have to mix with blood from a Crawg Rider with a .6% drop rate. We're going to have to mix it together to create an unstable blood loa salve which needs to be rubbed on 6 tiny Crawg-shaped rocks strewn throughout the BfA zones. The blood will have a 1-hour duration after which it rots and we have to start over. Once all rocks have been anointed, it summons a boss that you need 20 people to kill, all of which must be Hunters. All of these Hunters must have the blood on them to assist in the kill, and only one of them can loot the tome.

Just give us the darn Crawgs already!

Whew, I feel better.

I would prefer if they left these sort of hunts to unique pets rather than an entire family.

So he's had this book for years--where would he have kept it?

Most likely either Zuldazar or Nazmir.

Well, Muffinus just tweeted a Tractor emoji in response to a question about the tome, whatever that means. I guess a farm of some mob.

You don't know the Blizzard of today then they do anything they can to make us players grind crap and rng everything to hell just to keep us subbed.

Ugh, I've been digging since yesterday afternoon. Guess it's back to the grindstone. At least I have my new loa toad pet to keep me company.

That seems logical to me, too. But he’s also been tweeting deliberate nonsense about secrets as well, so who knows? :/

He has said before (there is a pin about it in the Hivemind section) that he nor any other Blizz employee will post hints on Twitter.

"The secret is that our tweets are unhelpful and no one should follow us"

KIlled Zul on heroic, the tome did not drop for either hunter on the kill.

OK, in case there's any confusion, I just merged the two topics discussing Blood Beast taming and the Blood-Soaked Tome of Dark Whispers. It was a bit silly to keep checking two threads for the same updates :)

I didn't know that existed and I don't know what it's from but I am utterly entranced by it and feel inspired to go...dig a hole.
