I tamed a fox in Redridge earlier, tried to swap it out for my wasp, but it just vanished...every time I stable my wasp it says my fox is active, but nothing happens...yay for bugs!

Nope, from what I can see right now the Mastiffs are on the Worg skeleton which is different from the prairie wolf models.

I want a fox, but I don't want a fox...I'm at an impasse.

I want one because they are so cute! I love foxes! They would match my dwarf's red red hair! They're so much cuter than the coyote model they're based on! Eeee! But on the other hand, I HATE foxes because of the internet's unhealthy love of them; from furries, all of whom can't seem to picture themselves as anything other than a fox (or wolf), to lolpictures, to tons of anime. Gimme a raccoon instead! Argh! Not only that, but everyone and their mother will have a freaking red fox pet, and I HATE THAT. Please gimme a rare skin to taaaaaame for foxes!

Sigh, what do you guys think?

They're also considered a pest by a large amount of people. Thanks for summing up my reasons for dislike.

Lol, coyotes are considered pests too; my mom's neighbor is obsessed with shooting them all. T^T I was on my mom's farm when he found a litter of kits...and disposed of them. With his gun. I was so sick to my stomach.

Now, executing coyotes or foxes I don't approve of. I dislike foxes, never seen a coyote, but I know why people dislike them, but I would NEVER suggest "disposing" of them.
Killing stuff isn't the solution.

I know, I was very sad. I keep trying to catch him poaching so that I can call the game commission to take his guns away.

But on a lighter note, my mom once found a litter of fox kits when she was riding her horse in the woods! She took a picture on her phone and they were sooooo cute! Cute, and dumb, cause when they saw her, they went running back to their burrow. I love baby animals. <3
