I'm still waiting for beta access

Just snagged him myself on my Main (on live). Hopefully they decide to keep this once Cata hits. I always seem to miss these special pets, due to my own stupidity or my account isn't active at the time, so I'm glad to have a shot at this one. Let's hope blizz decides not to change him back eh?

I opted to grab him on live, giving up my outland model white windserpant as it's the ONLY pet I can retame later. I was never really fond of the bugs, but hey, If that new re-model sticks, I'll be calling mine BATTLETANK!

Grabbed one and named it Tick. People will wonder why I've named him that until Cataclysm hits... then they will gasp in shock and awe at this monstrosity.

Or, Blizz will fix it. ;D

I called mine Devourer... well it was better than the Soriid part

The one that is in the screenshot is now named Hoss.

Would suggest keeping that pet on the down-low in Beta to avoid gaining Blizz's attention...hope this gets to live...

I doubt keeping it on the "down low" is going to help anything as i'm sure blizz knows that the skin they changed was a tameable lol

Blizzard might be vaguely aware of the change, but they might not care at the moment, as they've got FAR bigger fish to fry.

Okay I got this pet. No waiting. The rare creature was there. Got rid of a valuable pet for it though. Oh well. It looks different. And are Silithids missing 2 Points to add to their tree? Or like is it just bugged for "Soriid"? Mine is missing 2 Points (18 from the 20 that you're supposed to get). Thank you.

you gotta level it to 80 to get the last 2 points silly

He's probably missing a couple of points from being a lower level than you.

three months for speculation on a very very long shot sounds unreasonable, but i suppose the existence of a chance, no matter how fleeting, is what being a hunter is all about.

This is maddening, I cautioned against this kind of thing in the clutchmother thread. Reacting to beta stuff this early, especially before they start working on our pets, is jsut going to lead to disappointment.

On the other hand, there's a chance to have our own spider lord. >_<
