Oh good god.
I can't decide whether I'm deeply amused or insulted.
I will say this; the Princess Leia outfits look TERRIBLE on male toons, which isn't fair either:
Ewwww.
Also,
here is the direct link to the hot pink pants.

I'm kind of scared of some of the comments. One states that they look good on female characters, and that they are "roleplaying gear". Makes you wonder about what he considers to be roleplaying...

For some reason, the name "Fox Force Five" comes to mind.

I think this thread is derailed somewhat.....
*throws a tomato at any random person. yes that can include, normal people, lich queens, ryno weapons ,ryno himself, epic druids that don't belive in P.dawg shun the non-believer shuuuuuun admin's, and mania's,llama's with chainsaws, tako's, anime lovers, werewolves, cats singing lady gaga songs and rabbit's with old god's as pets. viewer discretion is advised. of course getting a tomato getting thrown at you by a evil ghost naga companion isn't so fun is it?*
also really nice change's

Awesome, I wish they did look like this. Me and a couple of my friends have already decided to role male versions simply because the females look so...ugh...but these make me consider rolling a female of at least one species. Considering I have all guy characters and no females...

Firemane Leggings (legguard?)!!!!! No idea what they look like on males, though. One can only hope they look like actual pants.
Edit: Guess it would have helped if I had read
all the comments before replying.

Thanks Acherontia! (They look much better on females if I may say so myself)

Bit of an old thread, but still relevant.
Sounds like some updates on the Female Worgen front.
The models were recently redesigned slightly to have a more feral muzzle, à la male worgen, and their hairstyles were completely removed in favor of a mane.
There isn't a functioning model yet, but the textures are buried in the files and have been uncovered. I'm relieved to hear the hairstyles were ditched, manes make much more sense and look less like a dog in a wig. x)

Can't tell if the head shape has been improved at all without an actual model, but at least they're redoing them. The eyes look far less cartoony and makeup-covered.

i liked the one they had. I thought they were beautiful. Who says worgen cant have a little beauty? Just like the orc female has ONE actual gentle beautiful face.
The new textures uncovered are UGLY beyond belief and make me NOT want to play a worgen.

Huge improvement IMO. Can't wait to actually see it on a model.

They were NOT beautiful. They were dogs in makeup. They could have opted to make them somewhat pretty-ish, but doing the same thing as they did on stuff like belves won't work, because it's makeup. On fur.

I'm really glad they're stepping away from the disturbing barbie makeup/hair on a bipedal wolf. I agree with Saturo, they just looked...wrong. I doubt I'll like the finished female version even with improvements, but regardless I'd rather see a logical and more natural looking model than the previous ones which looked too disneyfied for WoW.

The teeth bother me on the new models. Ferocious as they may be, if those worgen don't have gizzards then they're probably going to starve.

I don't see ANY makeup on the old models so I'm not sure why everyones going "omg nu barbeh makeup!" when there isnt any. Personally, their eyes looks egyptianish to me and thats what made me fall in love with the female worgens and I wish they'd go back to it.
This is a fantasy game. Realistic doesn't really apply.
the new ones look like a druid bear that got hit with the ugly stick.

I like the new models... but I hope we'll have some customisation with the mane. Kinda like we can at least give the female tauren braids. I'm not asking for cutesy ringlets cascading down, but gods no, but just something to let my worgen ladies show a bit more personality in their looks.

Far right side, that's the imagery of female worgen that I really did not like. Fantasy or not, the beautified makeup look didn't suit a race like them to me, so that's why I'm glad they've changed direction a bit.

I think it's pretty and I thought the 'makeup' was just their eyes glowing. But if it was makeup, then it shouldnt be there.
But I want that eye-style kept, the egyptian, seductive look.

I'm definitely happy with the direction. They were just too frail looking for me. I love me some feral werewolves. I never noticed the makeup on the models either, I just didn't like the model personally.

This. It was said plenty of times prior that it was the reflection of the eye glow, which on the Worgen, is very bright. Whether it was overkill or not would have to have been seen on a live model for final analysis, but yeh, light reflects off it's surroundings, therefore glowing eyes will have reflection. I think if they added makeup it would have been complementing colors or one completely different from the eye color. I will hold my judgment on the models until I see them in live, but I personally loved the old ones. Having a balance of aggressive and docile expressions would be ideal, for all races and sexes. They may have looked more feline, but being a 'cat girl' I didn't mind it, nor would I mind more canine features (as edited in first post's pics) implemented.
