If they're going by real hives/bugs, breeding females (and the Aina one is called the Hive Queen) are usually much bigger than the fertile males, which is what I assume Harakiss would be? :)
Virile ;)

So these spawns are at the usual hives in the north & south parts of Tanaris? Aina at the north, & Haarakiss at the south but not inside, on top?

One at each hive. And they are outside.

Also, update on the OPs post, the Hive Controller in thousand needles is now tameable, as seen here:

You can watch me tame the Big Brain Bug here: Chugs Tames Hive Controller - AKA Big Brain Bug!

There's nothing special or hard about the tame, other than he's exotic, requiring Beast Mastery. It's just a vid showing where to find him, and will probably be of historical interest when they undoubtedly nerf the size later on!

Oversized Brainbugs have been shrunk down too normal pet size :/
Fun while it lasted.

Nooooooooo! Terrible news, everyone! D:

We knew it would be coming, of course, but still. :(

Would appreciate screenshots of the resized buggies whenever someone gets the chance please! :D

Ooo. ^^ I really like this change, now we can actually use these guys without blocking everything with them. Can't wait to see how they look now.

Agreed! Impressive as they looked, I couldn't have my guy out while doing anything that required clicking on objects or I'd only click on him. He liked to stand right on top of me.

Gumbo, in silithid form! >_>

Mind you, I do agree that this was a necessary and practical change; I was just hoping to have an oversized bug just for a day or two. ;)

Could we have pictures please?

I hope it isn't shrunk down TOO much. I mean, those Sholazar wasps are still pretty big.

I would be happy with screenies :)

Aww, sad. I learned to adjust to my giant bug and liked him that way. Still, I understand the potential griefing that could come in any group setting. (I didn't take him in to instances). If a pic hasn't been posted by the time I get off work, I'll snap one.

Wow, the brain bugs are so small now... Just went to tame the creepy exposed brain one (curse you rare spawns!) and here's how they look now.

Downsized Hive controller :(

Hopefully Blizzard will scale them up a bit, they seem a bit too small at the moment.
Ninja'd, hai golden :D

N'aw.. I was not happy with how big they were. I was hoping for a downsize but this is just abit too small. Way smaller than the Hive Queens and even the normal Silithid Tanks.. Bah.

Though, a glinter inside me compells me to scream; ''CUTE!''

Too small imo. Should be at least devilsaur size if you ask me.

Yep. That would be the right size. I don't get the extreme downsizing in pets anyways. Sholazar Wasps are still pretty humongous.

I knew they were gonna decrease the size of the Collosuses of course. Sadly Hunters can't keep huge pets. Wow, that is too small. I have to get on the public test realms now and protest/suggest a bigger size for 'em!
