I have to say overall the female worgen's new look is growing on me. I think it was the initial shock of the eyes that messed it up.

I think the last line in the rogue description was pretty amusing and fitting in the first video posted haha
Though the quality of the vid was a little blurry, they can totally make the model work with... well... some work 
I am in absolute LOVE with the wild, tousled manes, they look tribal, feral, and the fit so perfectly with the whole of the model and Worgen in general. It's untamed, yet decorated/styled enough to have a domesticated feel to it, a definitive detail of the humanity that is a part of the player controlled Worgen.
Once they add eye options, along with mouth styles to go with the different ears, I think they will be on a great path. Make the head shaped like the edit Ach did in her thread- brilliant! That short, turned up snout needs to go.
The eyes should certainly have a wild insane option, as some people love it, and even so, I'm sure there are Worgen out there who would be a little nuts at times, so those eyes would fit great- imagine a wild crazed Worgen charging at you with those eyes and snarling! Yikes! But yeh. I would like a not so freaked out eye option XD
Same with the mouth, I wouldn't add a friendly smile like some of the races have, I think it's just as scary to have a perma- smile as a perma- snarl! D: But I love the concentrated expression. Like they are observing the situation, listening to someone, or deciding what to do. This is a perfect face and the one I would use. If they had the splayed teeth sticking through the lips, that would be awesome. I just don't fancy that odd half snarl, gotta either be full out rawr or closed mouth with teefers poking through. I mean, leave this one as an option, but give us others.
If they add the eye colors back, I'd have to see them on a model with glow enabled, if the eyes even glow anymore. I think if they glow it should be more subdued, I loved the bright colors but not sure if they would clash too much with the models... maybe would be better without the glow, and toned down colors, not so bright? Natural is fine too, as long as they make one less, um... shocked looking
The body will be fine once they tweak it up and proportion it correctly. They can work it to be similar to the female Tauren, which is nicely proportioned and larger in frame compared to Draenei. Depends on how they want the posture to be. Draenei have a distinct arch to their back to support their balance on small hooves, since their tail is more decorative than the males, and doesn't seem to be linked to balance. The Worgen have no tails, so they need to balance the bi-pedal model somehow, possibly following the Draenei model. Butttt I will leave the anatomy details to the designers
I can't wait to see the final models, let's hope they give us the options we need to roll the Worgen we want.

I kinda wish the females would look more tough and grizzled looking, you know?
Why is it all Alliance females have to be all elegant and ultra-feminine? (Aside from female dwarves which are the best female models ally side imo)

The eyes now have animation (aka now they blink). Two days ago they didn't have any eye animation. I assume the mouth's overbite is the same reason. Needless to say, the Worgen females eyes look better, even though the character selection screen is NOT the gilnean one, so it has a horrid pink/melon overlay causing a lot of the colors to look odd.
ANYWAYS lol
Here's an update since they've got the eyes animated. Slight difference, but it does look better.

Looks to me like these still have a long way to go, like they're trying new skins on the old model still. The skull shape, to me, looks almost identical to the "old" model. I suspect that this is still very much a WIP. But I do like the mane (rather than looking like a freaking wig) and the more "ferocious" style these seem to be showing. I think Blizz will do a good job with them.

Oh its still a huge WIP, I just wanted to take a screenshot of a slight modification they've done in 48 hrs
It's actually them trying the skins on a modified draenei skeleton, which is why its got the belly and the square butt. XD

It's mostly the angle. Though she still is stuffing, she's just not lopsided.
Half the model doesn't move correctly. the only real animations are basic. Beta is constantly streaming info, so I'm betting we'll see more improvements next build.

Oh they will. You should've seen the Worgen male right after re-vamp. YIKES! It was way worse. They had like your last-character's face-skin overlayed on their face. They had no mane, just white boxes and then some had... NO FACE AT ALL. Oh and their faces, when working, displayed all the face models at once XD
So yeah, Worgen female have a long way to go too. I wouldn't worry.

My guess is that we'll see that in an early post-Cata patch. You know, after all the initial fuss has died down and people will be starting to complain about the lack of shinies.

I don't like where Blizzard is going with this. Not at all. The new model looks more dog than wolf, and the facial expression is really deranged. What it should look like is this:
Believe it or not, that is a fairly minor edit of the
old female worgen face. The eyelashes have been removed, the muzzle tweaked just slightly and the fur textured to look a bit more fuzzy. Add the new mane and you've got a perfect female worgen, both beautiful and fierce.
I don't know who did the edit, but they deserve cookies. Epic cookies.

Again, you have to remember this whole skeleton of the current Worgen is just modified. It's nowhere near the final process. Half the face doesn't have animations, so it's actually "locked" closed, which is why the mouth has that huge overbite.
When you see them in game, starting to move slowly (the files are constanly streaming), the slight animations make a better difference.
Though even in that edit, the muzzle shouldn't point downward like that while the skull is still facing straight, but I know that it's actually just an edit of two pictures where one body is facing straight and the edited face is from a different angle X3
Though personally I loved old worgen female faces a ton more than these ones, and that's just me.
