I got the Horse today on my Horde Toon. This makes 2 toons that have it now.

Well, I'm officially going to beat my boyfriend into telling me how he has such great luck. He now has the HH mount on his shaman and his mage, and I have seen nothing but a stupid broom so far. >_>

Just want to say, I've been EXTREMELY lucky this year!! I have gotten the HHM TWICE now! I am mentally sending all my luck to all my Petopia friends.

I have wanted that mount desperately since the Headless Horseman was put in. I was obsessed with it. I begged and pleaded with someone who won the mount but (smartly) would not sell it to me.

The Headless Horseman's flying mount has been my dream mount for years. I was just about willing to do anything or pay any price for it.

I stayed up late Sunday night so I could do the HHM the SECOND the holiday started. When I got the Reins on my troll hunter, I actually started to cry a little. I then logged to my sweet little Forsaken Warlock (who was my second choice for the mount IF I could ever get it on my hunter) and SHE got the mount too. I sat there crying at the computer, I am not ashamed to say.

Obviously the horseman's mount is the one directly related to Hallow's End... but I have another question/concern over the indirectly linked mount: the violet protodrake. The Hallows End achievements toward What a Long Strange Trip includes a requirement that you obtain BOTH a sinister squashling pet and a pumpkin helm. Do you guys know the approximate drop rates on these from the loot-filled pumpkin? I'm feeling concerned after getting many "there is no loot" bags, and no pet. I only have once chance every day for the holiday duration. I'll be SUPER mad if i do this every day, get unlucky and no pet, and therefore am unable to complete the hallows achieve, which would delay my future violet protodrake an entire year. Does anyone have any good news for me, like "the pet is super common", or that there are other ways to obtain? :/

You do know you can get that pet via trick or treating right?

Soooooo Nastaran got the mount today....and the sword, which she couldn't use. But eeee, I have wanted this mount for years, and now I know I'll always have it on one of my mains.

I managed to get the reins this morning on Gumballs, my warrior and collector! I was scared that since I got the Zulian Tiger on Sunday, I had used up all my luck with rare mounts for a while, but that appears not to be the case! So now he is up to 115 mounts!

I hope I get the reins on my hunter as well, but if she doesn't end up getting them it doesn't really bother me. The main character I wanted it on was Gum, so I am very happy!

Trick or Treat bags have them and the box you get for killing the fake HH that lights fires has em.

I've got a couple lootless loot filled pumpkins, but last night, I also got the Sinister Squashing pet and Magic Broom in the same bag for my warlock, Emielee.

I've always wished that myself, I remember the 1st year it came out, I was flying around with my friend and throwing our Heavy Leather Ball back and forth while I screamed, "Go Long Harry, Go Long ! ! !"

Despite the harry potter reference it has going on, it 1st and foremost is a witches broomstick which I love and I really do enjoy how one just floats on it. It's nice and quiet and you don't bob around on it like your riding a jack-in-a-box

Still not a single HH mount for me. :< While my main hasn't gotten anything from her HH kills, Subira has gotten a blue drop whenever she does the HH OR Trick or Treat. >.< Wtb Sonata's luck, as she got the mount on her Priest alt the other day.

I found a trick to avoid client lock up on him. As your at the loading screen move your mouse as far down as possible and don't touch it. When you zone in turn you toon around so you your back it to the pumpkin. When the boss comes out and is engaged you should be safe to turn around and fight him at this point.

Just be careful not to scroll the Kingsblood that hides back there too. Nearly crashed me.

Funny story, though. Everyone would freeze on pumpkin touching. We were laughing, joking about, and they kept saying that the kitty (Me) should touch it. i had been cautious, kept my cursor away, and made sure to avoid it. Finally, I agreed to sacrifice myself. Scoot up riiiiight next to the pumpkin, click and...Hai thar Headless Horseman.

We all agreed that while black cats were crappy luck, white Azu kitties were awesome luck. Of course, I ended up getting the sword. D:

Its odd i find that i'll dc once but then when i relog i can use the pumpkin just fin O.o

So, seems lady luck shined upon my death knight tonight. Not quite his dream mount (which is the Black Drake *swoon*) But a very nice none the less, I'm glad he picked it up out of all my characters. Very suitable for death knights I feel. Good luck to you who are still hunting for him!

Anyone notice how the horseman's mount seems to be a little buggy? Like, try walking with it, it does this weird bendy knees thing.

Yeah i think it suits my DK too. Horses don't suit cows much but this does

I ended up getting another set of reins on my warrior this morning after already getting the mount yesterday. I really wish that they made it so you could trade to members of your party, because I would have traded it over to someone who has a use for it instead of having an extra in my bags.
