Tamed Sambas this afternoon before Beta servers went down and again like other rares he was in a spot different than what has been posted previously so he does spawn all over the hills in the Twighlight Highlands. I have posted image of him tamed and the spot on the map where I got him.

Found Sambas at 2:55 am server on Lost Isle, a little more north of where Wain originally foind him. I'd hazzard a guess that he patrols along the Glopgut's Hollow cliff wall thing.

How can you not like him?

I just had to. I've been naming all her pets after RP characters too lmao. Although I did it as a joke, it's actually kinda fun having her run about, ordering around Venin the Dog (Not much changed there >.>). I may have to make her in live where nobody will get the reference and will just think I'm being uncreative.

Sambas is a lovely model, but there are a few issues with him. His big fluffy perm mane clips into his paw and into the ground a little. I know they were trying to base it on the Alliance Symbol, but I think it would his model so much better if they trimmed his undermane a bit.
I'm more than happy to live with it though if need be. We need moar puffy mane lions Blizz!

*Snickers* That kind of reminds me of how in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon I've been naming Pokemon I recruit after RP characters of that species... Like the Kabutops I randomly recruited who I named Scarab... And the Kabuto that I got right afterwards who I named MiniScarab XD ... I'm getting SO off topic now.

...... *Gets the idea of a Worgen Huntress named Ghostgirl* ..... MUST DO WHEN CATA HITS. *Starts thinking of what pets to get and who to name them after* ... A Devilsaur named Ironskull? Heck yes! XD

Now that is a handsome lion. I wouldn't mind having this rugged creature next to me.

This calaclysm thing is just getting better and better. Wasn't too long ago that I was wishing this lion would be tamable somehow. Now I want to jump and cry at the same time. Jump for this rare being added and tamable, and cry thinking how many people will be farming this rare.

Sambas picked off at 3:02 Eastern Time, right between the Maw of Madness and Thundermar. I almost wanted to kill him. Now I have a flufflion instead.

What am I going to do with a flufflion?

Name it Fluffy and call it a day? xD

I almost did. Named him Campanella instead.

Or Dandylion? Since he's got such a dandy 'do?

Edit: Crap, now I want to tame him even though I dislike his model, just so I can name him Dandylion.

I...am so naming him Dandelion. XD That's so cute. It would be epic if he was white.

I wonder if there Black version of Sambas out there i bet there isn,t but be awesome if there was One!

Up to the latest patch, there is only one visible colour for this model in the databases. So I wouldn't be holding your breath

Crys.... how could you:O lolz wish it happen! but the again im glad we got lots of pet to go on hunt for> Rare pet for LIFE!

I know this must have been mentioned by now but they should do every lion in the game like this. Like maybe just the rare spawns at least; like humar and Echyeeyake . It would be nice because the lions right now are pretty ungraphical and don't look as realistic as they could make them look considering how this new lion skin looks. They could do better and I think they should.
