No worries. There is a reason that you never ran into these guys. They're in the Servant's Quarters, that doorway to the right as you enter Kara, to the right of the stairs leading up to Moroes.
Hyakiss the Lurker
Shadikith the Glider
Rokad the Ravager
The oft maligned beast bosses. The reason virtually everyone would never kill them are several-fold.
1. You had to kill a random amount of trash, in a very crowded maze-like area, to get the bosses to spawn. Different areas of the servant's quarters were home to different kinds of beasts, Spiders, bats, and demon hounds.
2. They dropped a random purple with a random enchant. The only thing you could be sure of what what slot they'd drop, depending on which boss you got to spawn. Hyakiss dropped a belt, Shadikith dropped boots, and Rokad dropped bracers. But they could be Cloth, leather, mail, or plate, and the enchant was random.
3. The bosses gave faction, but no badges.
4. The Animal Bosses were skippable, so you didn't need to kill them anyway.
5. I could be wrong on this, but I think you were only able to spawn one animal boss per week in Kara, and it was random which would spawn.
And now for a personal testimonial from back in the BC days *picks up his cane and sits in the old rocking chair*: Back in my day, on a lark, my guild decided to do the animal bosses once. Call it a fit of temporary insanity. We'd never done it before, so why not, right ? After spending 10 minutes clearing trash, we started getting impatient. After 20 minutes of trash we were getting ornery and decided we were gonna get the boss to spawn one way or another. Shortly after it did. Then we had to go find it... which involved killing even more trash, and yea... Once we finally did kill it (I think it was Shadikith, if I remember right), we got a set of boots that had an enchant that didn't match the armor type. Like, cloth boots of strength or something like that. Anyway, it was unilaterally declared at that point: "We have slain our foe, the wild animal boss, and we shall NEVER do so EVER AGAIN" lol. If people started acting up in raid, we'd threaten em with the animal bosses, lol. That'd usually get them back in line.
So, take one part killing a god-awful amount of trash just to get a boss to spwan, not knowing what boss will spawn, one part random loot with a random enchantment, and no badges for killing a boss, then top that off with the boss not being mandatory to progress in the dungeon, and yea, thats why pretty much *everyone* would skip the animal bosses, and likely why you've never seen them
