What kind of effect have they got?

And you need to spam-press the macro (put it on your bars) as the tame is finishing, rather than after it completes, see if that works :D

PS: It has a full list of pets it will work on temporarily, (it has been there for a long time actually)

One not on your list I spotted today. If you might remember rolling a tauren after 4.0.3a, there's the new starting area quest to set the boar's feed on fire, sending piggies flying. Well guess what, if you ever wanted a flaming boar appearance buff....

Awesome Roitar, thanks again :D

And thanks Griff--I know about the temp pets list, because I made most of the temp pets list on your very first post, page 2 :P

Would you mind linking back here for those who want to see?

Ofcourse I will make a link right now so people can see how you went trough your new Taming method that is much much better! <3
But since there is -so much- going on right now, I want it all (including the list) in 1 post for new people to understand, having lists and guides and suggestions, everywhere, will make 50 topics that everyone has to keep track of :(

And yes I noticed your list there, but I checked those pets straight after taming the oil hawk though, before even making that guide, because I wanted more of those beasts in a single guide (Didnt find any working ones though), thats why I asked people to check wether it works before suggesting another tame, because I -probably- already checked them. So your list there was much appreciated! <3

Very happy with the findings of the Sword Wolf, and the Flame Boar though, I would have never found them myself!

Hello again , I dunno if someone mentioned this already, but after I tamed an oil wolf with the "petAbandon -Method " I let him die and after the rezz he is still oil coated .

Greetings Niobe

Nevermind just noticed that it was mentioned before

Heh, I recognized your username and looked down and saw you played on Kalecgos too. Then I realized that was ME in the screenshot

I'm working on Loremaster right now so I'm keeping my eyes out for pets with permanent buffs on them, I'll be sure to post them in here if I find any :)

Just tamed one now, but as the debuff/buff is actually timed, it should disappear after the timer runs out. Testing to be sure though.

Thank you for posting this. Just got him.
That is a scary script macro. It doesn't ask you to confirm the abandon. BE CAREFUL!

Dang, I thought/prayed/wished/hoped that this method would mean the Un'Goro Devilsaurs would keep their size, but sadly it doesn't. When it despawns after taming it is still giant, but upon relogging its back down to normal. Darn.

Indeed, take that macro OFF your bars after you're done

The Ghostpaw Runners and Alphas are found in Ashenvale, and this works on either, but it does not work on the Howlers. The Alphas are found near Splintertree Post, and the Runners are found (in much greater numbers) from Zoram'Gar Outpost and Lake Falathim all the way north to Darkshore.
