Alright.

I was hoping you would choose the lioness. I like beetles, and that coloration is.. unique. I want to see how it looks. xD

Red & Black Ravager - Ravager

Lol, it is okay!

I've never tamed a Ravager, ironically. So, this will be interesting.

Really? I guess my expectations were so low that I never even tried leaving it on autocast! That's great news, considering how hard it is to get my gorilla to interrupt a cast in time by spamming Pummel, and that's not even taking into account my reaction time. I'll need to do some testing on this on my nether ray Aurum.

Yeah. I'm considering seeing if a moth works the same way. I used to raid with a moth, and it'd be nice to have one around.

The long CD is the only part that makes me prefer the Pummel version to the moth dust version. I prefer something that's useful as an interrupt as often as possible, for obvious reasons!

So, this is my friend Dijou that I was assigned to find. Went to the Wetlands to find out he is definitely a he. (My whole team is made of men so far... O.o ) Then started to do some questing with him after I built his talents. Now, I will be honest I have NEVER had a cunning pet before, so that was really different. The one thing I like about him a lot is the fact that he actually doesn't take a lot of damage, he is pretty strong over-all. But I LOOOVE if he is unhappy he can feed off the beast I just killed body. I imagine that would be hilarious in PVP. "Oh, my pets hungry. This guy is dead. NOMNOMNOM." I am still not sure if I want to keep him yet, but considering I only have 3 pets in my stable, he isn't going anywhere soon. I need to figure out more about how I feel about him, but so far he has not proven me wrong.

I just never expected to have a Ravager in my team.

In the Wetlands where the pirate ships are crashed you go over there, Make sure you turn off your pet attacking and don't attack yourself and put your pet near one of the pirates. Eventually, your pet will be turned into a undead female or male.

No matter how many times you do it with the same pet it will always be turned into the male or female.

I had Spiteflayer [yellow carrion bird] so I went off to Badlands to hunt him down. Luckily there wasn't anybody else there so I tamed him and gave him a hug! I think he looks really cool so I took him with me to Deepholm as I quested for a bit. The first thing I noticed was his idle animation/wing flapping. It bugged me a little but I just said so he's fidgety, whatever. I misdirected him and opened up on a regular level 83 mob. I jumped in my seat because his special ability [10% damage reduction to all enemies nearby] sounded like a bomb being dropped. I killed a mob and saw him fly away - FAST. I was like WHOA. Where are you going!?! Turns out his AoE ability aggro'd some frog or something so he took off after it to kill it. I tested this again by placing him next to a neutral mob and hitting his ability. It aggro'd and he attacked it. I ran into this same problem with my bear so I would never take this yellow birdy into an instance with me. I don't want him aggro'ing a critter or anything else and flying off to kill it or having issues being in combat.
So for anyone wanting to go tame this pet, I agree that it looks neat, but when you're surrounded by enemies and only need to kill one... DON'T bring this bird with you. You will aggro lots of mobs and be annoyed like I was. For me, it's more of a "Oh look, a pretty bird!" pet that I would take out in Orgrimmar. I ended up releasing the little guy back into the wild. He was nice to have around but not something I'm going to keep permanently.
