Does this addon still work in Cataclysm?
I've been a bit hesitant in getting it because I only ever use Curse or WoW Interface on the rare occasion.
I really like this addon and have seen people using it...
but I'd like to make sure. [:

Do I download the editor as well?
I feel like such a noob but I'm afraid to do anything wrong.
Any chance someone could break down the process for me step-by-step?

You don't need the editor unless you want to write your own emotes. 
What you want to do is:
- Close WoW.
- Download PetEmote from this link (http://ammunition-company.zirkel-des-ce ... 01.7.1.zip)
- Extract all the files into your World of Warcraft/Interface/AddOns/ folder using a program like WinZip. They should automatically go into a PetEmote subfolder.
- Go back to the first page of this thread and download Teigan's custom emotes from the link at the bottom of the first post.
- Extract those files into the PetEmote subfolder.
- Start up WoW. It should be working. Use the /pe command in game to get a list of the available commands.

Found an error with a shale spider emote. Changed my purple squee spider into a female last night and tonight she emoted: "Amethyst rattles his chelicerare."
