That's the problem with camping You just never know. I decided I didn't care! Also, I should make a post with my times. I must have found 7 Madexxes, with only one or two that I missed. I doubt it will help, but I wrote it down to share

No. My prairie dog doesn't have that, but of course, that could only be because you're underwater... I'm going to have to test this sometime soon.

Possibly after I finish camping for red Madexx.

I really wish I knew the last time he spawned.

My boyfriend's brother decided he was going to be a little twat and pulled the internet cord out of my computer, so I was internet-less for a good hour or two. /: Watched t.v., ate some pretzels, and now I'm back circling Uldum.

BOY. Am I glad I waited!
Was doing a last pass over the desert, starting from the north-western spawn point, and suddenly NPC Scan and SilverDragon go off.
Look down at what was causing it to see... THE RED MADEXX HAD SPAWNED.
Started freaking out, forgot where my tame button was, and landed and started to tame.
Forgot to even take a screenshot during the tame, but managed to get one afterwards!

Now, for a name.

I just dinged level 84 and now i'm on my new search for madexx I'm hoping for blue but green would be cool.

Last on my list. I have the ones I'd like/want. Also, I'd feel terrible abandoning any of my guys now.

I'm done in that terrible desert for good. The black and bronze Madexx are not what I like (I don't like really dull colors), so its off to working on my inscription on my shaman. x3

According to this thread I was DONE! Then I found out Karoma was a spirit beast and not just a ghost wolf. All my other Spirit Beasts would miss him. So been circling Twilight Highlands off and on for the past three days. Had NPC scan go off TWICE with that stupid dragon rare. Posting on this thread seems to bring people good luck, so I shall do the same and hope. ~ Obi

Hmmm....why can't I get the Black Madexx out of my head.

I'm extremely happy with my Blue, of course, but I can't help feeling like I want to at least see the Black myself once as it was the colour I originally wanted. I have a feeling I won't truly be able to leave this desert until I find it, so...hope this thread works.

I'm not sure what I'll even do with two Scorpids, or if I'd even end up keeping the Black if I found and tamed him...there's just that nagging feeling though that I might want to have the Black along with my Blue, so...every time I'm idling around I seem to be sweeping the spawn points. x)

Veph, you could just do what I'm doing and level another hunter for all the pets that you want but can't fit in the measly 25 stable slots that our mains get. Lol

And at the same time, darn you! Actually I had already found myself periodically scanning the desert when I was in the area. /sigh. I do NOT want to do another camp. I have to get my druid to 85!

Sadly this thread has not done magic for me. Seems the only luck I've had is finding Vyragosa today.

I'd say the usual window is 6-24 hours. Try when you feel ready. But don't burn yourself out or risk your health. And grats on the Madexx. Good luck to those still hunting.
