Oh for F'sakes!!! Just found a tapeworm segment on my cat's hind end...So now I got to call the vet and hope that I can avoid bringing him in and just get some treatment for him (and his brother just to be safe). I really hope that I can avoid the vet check, because I really don't need an added cost right now.

I hope your cat gets better! That does not sound fun D:

I also learned what "hot glueing" is when it comes to figures and um yeah :S

Damn...They both have to come in so they can get an accurate weight for the treatments....T.T
Treatments easy enough, just a PITA when I just felt comfortable paying up all the bills at once, and now suddenly...this. Going to be slim groceries for us for the next few weeks.

yup sounds about right

That pretty much summed up my experiences when I tried Fallout (I had played FO3 beforehand, so the transition back to FO1 threw me for a loop.) Didn't know the controls aaaaand got my ass kicked by 3 radscorpions in the first five minutes. So when I tried again I got my dad to teach me controls and lasted a lot longer.

But I'm playing NV anyways, FO1 is just for when my dad has NV. Aaah, Fallout.

Is NV good? I've been thinking of getting it and I saw it's on sale at a shop here with all the DLC too.

$200 poorer, but the kitties got dewormed and their check up. They will be going in again about mid april for their next shots and then should be good for 3yrs before they need to go in again (barring any more unforeseen issues)

Expensive, but at least it's done and out of the way now? :3

I have no idea how I'm supposed to be feeling right now. I try and help, and you acknowledge it, but I'd like a little more than, 'it's fine, you don't have to bother'. I'm trying to express to you that I care about you and really want you to be happy, it's what best friends do, isn't it? But you shrug it off so often and I can't help but find it really annoying. Grow a backbone, boy. :/

My eyes are burning from crying so much. Oooow...

It was good tears though at the end. I was feeling ignored and forgotten all day until a friend asked me to roleplay with him. I love that someone cares enough to make both my roleplay character and me happy when we are both down. Thank you...

EDIT: Maybe this should be in the happy thread, but I already posted it here. Oh well. My eyes still hurt so much. ;-;

Weird condensation or the outside just had a chance to dry maybe? Why is the dress inside even wet anyway? Was it not sealed in plastic? I hope it will be ok.

I dunno :( It was wet inside and outside a sealed plastic bag...we couldn't work out how as there were no tears in the bag either. All i know is that I have a very damp wedding dress and I'm going to pray its ok....stressssssss!

I've been having LOADS of fun with NV. Granted, this is coming from someone new to the Fallout franchise, and I know a lot of people more familiar with the series have had a lot of grips with it writing wise. The only big issue with NV is it's pretty buggy and crashes (I can't tab out to something else without it crashing, for example) but I mean, that's Bethesda for you. If you can get over the bugs and writing issues, it's a great game.

tl;dr for many veterans, they found it lacking. for people who are noobs like me, it's a fantastic game.

Woke up this morning with my right eye swollen shut and oozing. Can't afford to miss work or go to the doctor. At least it doesn't hurt I guess.

I think I'll buy it then. I still need to finish all the dlc for Fallout 3 but after that it's off to Vegas!

Wow. o.o That's not on! I say contact whoever you bought the dress off and ask them to sort it immediately!

Really? a FF X/X-2 HD remaster for PS3 and Vita?
Don't get me wrong, I like the games, I've played/beaten them many times...BUT STOP, just stop...X didn't really need a sequel, and the whole "lightning" thing...no...
It just pisses me off that they make all these sequels for games, but they ignore the HUGE!!! OMG its such a Huge fan base, that are crying out for remakes of Final Fantasy 7 & 8, and they aren't listening!!
/bangs head against wall. Do they just not realize how much money they would make, by remaking those two games? Not to mention the sheer amount of happy fans.

I would totes buy a FF8 redux. Hell, it worked for Wild Arms (one of my personal favorite series.)

I am, however, one of the people that really didn't like FF7 at all. Well, except Cid. FF7 Cid is the best Cid. Just... one raging, tea-drinking badass can't save the whole game, for me. I dunno, maybe if they un-cardboarded the characterization some it might be better... but then people who liked it the way it was would complain... it could go either way.

Also, I -loved- FFX. And while I wasn't totally attached to the plot of X-2, the mechanics were a lot of fun, so I still enjoyed it. But... like... it was fine. Why the hell would you -remake- it? It's like the remake of Psycho. Unnecessary and probably inferior.

/high gives

VEGAS BABY AW YEAH (also man I've been doing some of the DLC for NV and it's been loads of fun. Speaking of DLC, what do you think about the one with the Punga fruits? I found the whole Sacred Punga tree bit to be fantastic. I cackled for a while after that and I still crack up remembering it.)
