So, just because I am wandering about I tamed a wolf that looks like an alive version of ghost gara, named it Gara, and ran around shadowmoon. Trying to lure out Xan to make him think I stole Gara back. Didn't do anything, and I am thinking Gara is probably a void wolf now anyways. This was just something useless I did to wander around frostfire ridge and shadowmoon more. Also looked around Nagrand in spirit woods some more, tried taming more animals under lantern buff, still nothing. What other random stuff can we do in our attempts to get into the void realm?

I honestly think I've burned myself out at this stage with nothing to go on. I've even considered just searching wowhead for void and going down the list but naahhhhhhhh  Thought about killing Void Reaver in the Eye because Void in the title

ok, thanks. These are not the same ids as the summon spells. One less thing to think about.
Weird thing about Om'ra is that its the third ID for her we haven't even mentioned yet. Apparently http://wod.wowhead.com/spell=177300 summons Om'ra again, which I thought weird since we are heading into the void and Om'ra has just been set free from the void.

I thought using the Ashes to "commune with the ancestors" would trigger http://wod.wowhead.com/spell=177300, cause her to reappear and then she could give us cheat codes or something.

Where would we get that void buff though? The one in pillars is called Overpowered.

Has anyone else noticed how the Lantern buff suppresses healing received by like 99%?

Edit: I stand corrected, it only seems to supress the healing from Camo. Spirit Bond heals just fine.

Edit 2: Actually it seems the camo heal is bugged all the way around, definitely not healing 3% per second.

No, since I always have aggro on my pet. But when I eat food my health seems to go up the same. Haven't had anyone healing me while I was killing stuff in pillars. What makes you think that?

K, so now what else can we analyze or discover. Seems like we are at another dead end...we need some help.

I edited my post, turns out the camo heal was bugged all the way around :x

We definitely need some sort of clue as at the moment we have no leads at all...
I hope a few more clues are added in for when this goes live because how were we supposed to figure out the whole effigy thing without datamining?

Exactly, we need something! One clue I thought they could've put in is a little book near grave that could've been a diary of Mother Om'ra or something. Just mention the effigy in a brief sentence maybe, and only mention one item associated with it possibly. The crude effigy you get from Grogrond says all the items you need for it, but the torn cloth and wooden bowl and all the other items don't mention anything about an effigy in their description. That's fine, just mentioning the crude effigy would lead us to all the answers we need for that part.

All this searching for hours on end is quite tiring, and starting to get a little frustrating. This uniting of the hunter community is great, but when we keep getting stuck some people start to give up until the next breakthrough. I know I gave up last time after countless searching, and because of that I missed out on all the hunters searching for effigy parts.

Maybe we need to find someone who knew Mother Om'ra, we might get some info from them. She was a Frostwolf right? Then through them we could possibly call her spirit again (the third spell ID) and get info on Gara and Xan. I feel like we're looking too hard for an item or a zone, when we need to be looking for a person.

Problem is we don't know about any neutral orcs that alliance can also speak with. Frostfire Ridge is kind of horde only at all the bases, except for one or two maybe. Rexxar is said o be neutral but he doesn't do much. That is a good theory though, I will start looking around more. I think throm'var village, upper left in FFR, is neutral since Khadgar is there.

Throm'var is definatly horde only, when I went to get the cloth on my alliance hunter I walked in there forgeting I was alliance and got attacked

Only other place would be Nagrand or shadowmoon then. Don't think any orc places in Nagrand are ally friendly though.

on another note here is an interesting picture of a dranei at bloodmaul slag mines. His hands and legs are separated from his body O.O looks funny though lol

just updated the wow beta forums post
http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic ... ?page=1#20

if you have any suggestions or additions for the op chime in.

Another thing that might be helpful - and a different pace from being at a loss in game -
go back and re-read all the posts here along with Bendaks and Darkbrews blogs and Muffinus's tweets and #solvegara

sometimes re-treading older material may remind you of something or give you a new idea :D

Has anyone been able to successfully clear Auchindoun? I remember running through the Tomb of Lights or whatever it is called over in Talador and the spirits there mentioned being able to finally rest in Auchindoun.

Auchinodoun is more of a dranei burial ground, so I don't think it would connect to this.

Hmmm....maybe the hint was in something Mother Om'ra said instead, anyone have logs of that?
