So it appears that my monitor-a trusty thing of many years-is dying. A rather disturbing crackling and popping is starting to come from it and sometimes the whole screen goes black and needs tap to bring it back. This cannot be good.

Trouble is, finances are such that it will be two weeks before I can get a new one, maybe two and a half to three before I pay for one and it gets here since Overstock.com seems to have the best prices.

So, unless my husband's old monitor works, I'll be using his PC to play when I get the chance. But it's his PC and I cannot "commandeer" it too often. Thusly, you'll be seeing a little less of me for a little while, which makes me have a sad. Unless that old monitor still kicks. Something about needing a cable...*crosses fingers!*

Old Monitor Factoid! : Once in the Winter of No Heat, an event brought on when both oil tanks died at the same time, my huge monitor and hubby's old monitor helped keep the office toasty, providing a habitable environment.

Aww, sorry to hear that Sochi. I hope you're able to get a new one as soon as you can. Try not to miss us too much.



In epic guild news today, a few of us had a pretty spectacular run.

Kalliope on her healer, Siliverin, Fworbin, and myself all queued up for a random heroic together. We get Violet Hold and all say something along the lines of "Lol, easy mode!". The tank zones in and then makes a rude comment about "Oh god, not 3 hunters." and DCed. -_- Anyways....we had already initiated the dungeon so we kind of had a "Oh crap..." moment.

Between the 3 of us hunters and Kalli's epic heals we managed to 4-man the whole thing until the second to last boss I believe when another tank finally showed up. There were a couple close calls, but it was actually incredibly fun just alternating with pet tanks and such. x) A couple of us had below 80 pets for levelling too.

In the end we figured we probably could have pulled off the entire instance on our own, so we think we might get a group together and attempt it one day.

That IS pretty epic XD I would've loved to see it.

And daw, Sochi, hope you get your new monitor soon and everything works out!

I'm ready for it! Four hunters and Nas.

The only trouble I forsee is if we draw the arcane boss; a hunter will have to kite him, in all likelihood.

I really really hate that guy. Ugh.

But yeah, couldn't ask for a better class to kite him. As long as everyone misdirects onto the kiting hunter and the kiting hunter runs like hell...

it was so much fun and crazy at the same time lol. all the sudden we start it up i see the tank write oh god 3 hunter then i look kalli has aggro im like wtf?! oh snaps!!! tank offlinne!!! BISH!!! ahh that was soo cool right as the seconed boos ( big ugly face dude) was coming out tank came. i really think we can pull it off next time ill have fraps running

Oh man, looks like you all had fun. Wish I could've been there. I might get more play time than I thought. With the living room near clean and a whole stash of books uncovered, Ketch is gonna be away from his keyboard more often.

Honestly? I would probably have reacted similarly to the tank (without the DC tough) to having a party of three hunters. Unless I know the hunter in question, I would be terrified. In my experience, hunters are the first people to start pulling for the tank and such. Gratz on finishing it anyway! :D

Really, Korii? A spare monitor? yes please! That would a tremendous help! Definitely! Thank you! Such would be awesome with so many needs tugging on my finances *eyeballs her car which needs tires alinged, a full comb over before inspection and an inspection sticker which it won't get if the check engine light is on*

Let me know here or in-game.

Ketch is awesome at the sharing thing, but eventually, were both gonna want the PC at the same time.

So. I've decided to roll up a hunter on Nessingwary... as my given name was taken, I decided to don a different face....

His name is Dosequis and he is the most interesting Orc in the world...

He will never need more cowbell...
He's tamed all of the creatures of the barrens and built a zoo near the orphanage.
Bosses would drop loot for him, but he already won it all from them at Poker.
His beard has won more Warsong Gulches than many lesser warlords...
Other factions grind dailys to be exalted with him....
Un'goro Devilsaurs look nervously over their shoulders to make sure he's not stalking nearby...
He singlehandedly found and returned Sylvannis' real body...
He poured a bottle of fine tequila off the Black Temple's roof to remember a fond misunderstood old friend...
Thrall offered him the warchief position first, but he didn't want to hurt Hellscream's feelings...
Deathwing let him decide where to split the barrens...
Its rumored that Azshara herself secretly facebook stalks him...

I usually don't drink mead... but when I do, I drink Dos Equis....
