For the third time now, Rathidion, can you please post the full request form at the end of your posts when you want another roll?

It makes the information easily accessible for Kormai and I when we go to do the rolls.

You sure about Ruffley having no restrictions? You could wind up with a Deadmines monkey.

Hey, don't look at me, Rathidion. Only reason why I went out of my way for Belleirle was because I felt bad that, after only 3 posts, she was getting called out by me, and I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. Yes, your situation isn't much different from hers in that regard, but I don't feel like constantly giving reminders to one person, and I don't think Kormai or TygerDarkstorm are going to keep on reminding you forever.

Touche about the monkey, I better fix that.
And your second part confuses me because you're quoting me but directing your post to Rathidion. o_O

Oh okay, I see now. ^_^
I wonder if we should have Kormai put a disclaimer on the front page or something that when you request more rolls to repost the form.

I don't know how much good it will do but I edited the original post to include a note about asking for more rolls. And included Tyger in the post
And before I can even submit my post...lmao

already done, Tyger.

In related news, no clue when I'll be getting my latest assignments done. Finals week is coming fast, and I need to get a good grade in calculus despite the difficulty I've been having. So, it may be a few days, or a couple weeks; I honestly can't say which at the moment.

Regardless, I found that the dark brown bear model has subtle color differences that led to me deciding upon it as my clear favorite. Along the backbone, the fur isn't so much brown as it is black. This is kinda hard to tell unless you're looking for it. Some lighting conditions will really bring out a contrast between the brown and black; places include Searing Gorge, Burning Steppes, and the burning regions of Hyjal.
Yeah i noticed the suttle color differences, but i still would love to see mottled colors on pets in wow.. Think that soo darn adorable!!! Even if the skin only is natural on a few in rl, wow could put them in game on more models.. i mean.. how natural is the other colors we can tame, like green cats, and the many lovely colors of the "demon" boars, just as an example

yay! my first random pet! admittedly i was hoping for a bear. bears are cute. :B
so, after learning which bear i would be taming, i headed out to silverpine forest to get my little buddy. flying through the very entrance to it, looking around for a bear-oh! looks like he was just waiting for me :>

i begin the tame, and, oh what's this? there's another lil guy in the background. i think the worg wants in on this.

as far as the model goes, it's alright, but i'm not really a fan of how high his butt sticks up in the air. reminiscent of druid forms

his front legs though seem to have a chunk missing out of them, where they meet with the stomach:

he also seemed to have a glow under his tail.

awkward. so, i go to jump in the lake; his swimming animations aren't very interesting, just a regular ol' doggypaddle. i do love the bear sounds and their animations, THEY'RE SO CUTE :B. after a few dailies with him, i get bored and decide to queue up for some pvp, since that's about all i do these days. (rated battlegrounds WOO). WSG pops, and we head on it!

we won of course. FOR THE HORDE :B. we had some fun 1v1ing a dk, my bear tanked him like a pro! didn't go below 90% hp! ;D (i think the DK might have been a bot.. but.. SHHHHH.)
overall, i'd give him a 7.5/10, he makes a great tanking pet, and has a couple talents useful for PVP (roar of sacrifice and intervene), but i would suggest using something else for pvp! hehe. i'm not a fan of his color, but that's just my taste; i might go tame a different color; i didn't really bond much with this one.
and so! i shall ask for a reroll!

So, my report on Red Serpent
So after finishing AQ 40 and some TB dailies on my priest, I logged onto my hunter and flew off to Tanaris looking for my next pet. Upon finding a serpent, I jumped out of my flying machine and parachuted down since it's faster that way. I set up a frost trap and started taming my serpent-sicle.
When I first saw that a serpent was my challenge, I thought I wouldn't like it at all and would end up setting it back to the wild. But after taming mine serpent and really looking at it, I realized just how beautiful she was. The vibrant reddish-pink color with some purplish accent stripes and the pinky spikes was wonderful to look at. I really loved her sky blue eyes. She's also taller than my dwarf(I foresee more of this in the future

). The shine on her scales and the reflection of light just makes we want to stare at her and appreciate how gorgeous she is. After all my adoring off her candy pink color, I ended up naming her Jolly, since she's like the color of a Jolly Rancher.
(Ignore Frankie the hatchling in the pic, he's been in too many quest cut scenes and it's gone to his head.)
The snake animations are smooth and graceful and also so wonderful to me. She slithers along side at a good pace without running in front of me. Her idle animation is simply turning her head, looking from side. She flickers her tongue out nonstop whenever she idle also. She's a quiet pet in general that hisses when she is clicked. When swimming, Jolly stretches out and gracefully slithers side to side.
She seemed to fare better than Loki while doing TB dailies with me. Jolly was able to keep aggro better on more than 1 mob. She was able to help kill the adds quicker. Her special ability, Corrosive Spit, is a stacking armor debuff. It is probably more useful in pvp or possible a group setting compared to solo, but I still found it kinda nice. When she fights, she will stop when she's in range of a mob to hit it with the Corrosive Spit before attacking in normal melee range. She's more vocal when she fights, with some hisses here and there.
My conclusion? I love her already so much and would never be able to send her back off into the sand of Tanaris. Which is not what I would have expected, since I thought I didn't like serpents. I have a brand new friend that I will treasure and would love the possibility of meeting a new one from the challenge.

How could you not like a sassy snake like Jolly?

Bell, I think you're one of the first people I've seen to really love that serpent color.

I love reading the reports guys, keep em up!
I'll see about tossing some new rolls out in a bit.

so my next tame is a black wolf!

this model and color combo has always been one of my favorites. let's take a closer look! :B
decided to head out to outlands to get my wolfy - i haven't been there in a long time, and it's so nostalgic. ahh. :> off to blade's edge i go!
in the wild, they're very very large animals, standing taller than my cow does! it's a little intimidating, but the tame was easy, of course.

from the moment i tamed him i felt a little attracted to him. wolves are my favorite animals, and it feels like this particular color on this model is the sleekest and best looking out there! that's just my opinion of course. :B

- WoWScrnShot_030911_031647.jpg (532.48 KiB) Viewed 2896 times
he's quite a lively fellow. i decided to name him Huttser, after a character in a book i'm reading :B (<- nerd! cookies to whoever knows what book it is). so, after much deliberation, i decide to bring him to tol barad with me. nothing too interesting, a few HKs, some good honor, and another win under my belt! Huttser didn't seem quite satisfied though, he kept howling at me and wanting to do more! D:
model specific wise: as i mentioned before, this is one of my favorite colors for this type of model. the model itself is well built, for wow's standards anyway; the movements are fluid, the sounds are nice; even his swimming animation seems very natural!

- WoWScrnShot_030911_041502.jpg (241.79 KiB) Viewed 2896 times
overall i'd give him a 8/10. i know i'm certainly keeping this one, he's so full of personality!
