Ahhh yes. The Eeveelutions. One of the best gimmicks of the series and I love them to death. Seriously, Eevee can be evolved to pretty much fit your team almost any way. It's no wonder why they're so popular.

1. Umbreon. I tend to like a lot of things that are associated with the Moon. Umbreon has a simple, but sleek and to me, beautiful design. Plus my Umbreon on my Black 2 is my pride and joy. Umbreon's also an amazing tank. Taking hits while whittling down opponents. It's shiny is again simple, but it's still has an appeal.
2. Vaporeon. Vaporeon was my original favorite Eeveelution. I love it's design in terms of the tail fin and how elegant it looks.
3. Espeon. It's cute, powerful, but it's shiny is BLEH.
4. Flareon. I've loved Flareon for a while, but I just couldn't use one. It's attack stat is amazing, but it suffered for so long due to a bad move pool. Seriously... Why did it take this long for it to learn Flare Blitz?
5. Jolteon. I've kind of had a soft spot for Jolteon, but I'm not overall fond of electric types. Still, this thing is speedy as hell. XD
6. Leafeon. Adverse to the newer Eeveelutions, but I do like how they worked a Grass type design into it. I'm still convinced they should've made it's shiny form with pink leaves. Like a sakura flower.
7. Glaceon. The one I used in a SoulSilver run served me well, but it's design is kind of neutral with me.
8. Sylveon. Now, while I love my Sylveon and Fairy type is currently wrecking... I'm kind of with Makoes on this one. I can't get over those bows. D:

I know quite a few people that disliked Sylveon to begin with, myself included, but because of the bonding process needed to evolve Eevee, they end up loving her to bits. (I... I just can't call it a him. xD) I agree with Falconcrest about the bows though... there's too many. Still, I love drawing her!

I'm not gunna lie, I was always confused as to Umbreon's popularity. While he's cool and all and undeniably has the best shiny form (Shiny Espeon? Noplz.) he looks a little... simple. Now while Espeon does too, there was always something about him that looked extra-plain to me. Is it cause he's the emo one and everyone likes the emo kids? xD *shot* I personally love Mega Absol and Absol was my favourite third gen Pokémon and she's looking very... emo... now. I dunno! Maybe it's cause I've never owned my own Umbreon (Might go for a shiny soon...) so I don't understand. D':

Also, I'm collecting Vivillon patterns right now. If anyone has access to the Archipelago, Icy Snow (NEEDNEEDNEED), Jungle, Monsoon, Ocean, River, Sandstorm or Sun patterns PLEASE let me know! I can't find them anywhere on the GTS ever... Well, I can, but people always seem to want stupid crap for them like a Xerneas or Pokémon that are inaccessible yet. D': I have ten patterns complete! Still need eight.

Which "icy snow" pattern do you need? Polar or Tundra? Cause I can provide a Polar.

woooo I was wonder-trading while trying to fall asleep and I got a Japanese Ditto! Time to breed me some shinies. Also got a Clauncher, Froakie, and Squirtle, which is awesome because I didn't have any of those.

can someone help me i am getting real frustrated right now.i have beaten the elite four the champion and beat my rival at the city and got my mega ring upgraded.looking for the orbs BUT when i try to set the time to 8PM (to which i have no way of knowing if its AM or PM cause it dosen't freakin say anywhere in game or on my DS).i have set it to 8:00 5 times now i even left the area and came back to where a mega stone SHOULD be but i am not getting anything.is there a way to tell if its am or pm on the ds and a way i can tell i am puting it to am or pm.i am realy frustated right now.

edit:i find out what i was doing wrong.i had to set the time to 20:00 cause thats 8PM.something i did not know cause when there is 8AM or PM i just asume 8 not 20.so i hope that info will help others with the same frustraing problem i had.

hey guys not sure if you heard about this that someone has been putting out there that there might be a shiny Arceus event in game when we transfer the shiny palkia,dialka,and giratina to X and Y.like with the reggis.i thought this was something cool to share dispite not being true or not.i would like to get an arceus one day.

So, funny story. The other day, I decided that I wanted to try Masuda Method breeding. After all, I haven't beaten the game yet, so I can't try chaining with the Pokeradar- breeding seemed like the best way to find shinies short of that. And due to being lucky and finding a very generous person over Wonder Trade, I had a japanese ditto. I also had a little Froakie. Okay, I thought. I know shiny Greninja is pretty bamf, I'll look for one of those.

...I probably should have looked up what shiny Froakie looked like. Forty-seven eggs later, I was staring uncomprehendingly at a newly hatched Froakie, trying to tell if it was a few shades lighter than the others or if my screen was just tilted wrong. It was, and I was happy- but talk about delayed reaction. I had to go into the summery to realize that it was actually the shiny I was looking for. x.x Now to figure out what the heck I'm going to do with it because my Dragalge is essential to my team.

(Also anyone want a female froakie? I have six.)

I would but I don't have my 3DS yet (might get it next week just scopeing out prices. Seems to all be around $300ish and the 2DS like $100 less so might go with a 2DS )

Oh they do, I just wasn't paying attention, heh. I was eating breakfast as I hatched the egg so I wasn't really looking at the screen or listening.

question does noibat get better stats when he evolves.i have been want to train this pokemon but he just seems week and can't even 1 hit enimys even when he has the type advantige.is just me haveing a bad noibat?

I've heard that he's not super strong even when he evolves, but he's super fast. I don't think he's meant for people to just smash face with. I think he's meant to get in moves quickly to completely mess up the other team, then get out.

I haven't used my Noivern (or even when he was a noibat) yet because I'm only at the 5th gym and he keeps outleveling me with exp share xD So I'm not talking from personal experience.

Teach it dragon pulse and he will wreck. Catch one of those gender difference kittys pre form where you find the Honedege and it should naturally know covet. Then go fight lovedisks and use covet. If it has a heart scale it will be stolen. Then you can run, take the scale from the cat, and go to the move tutor and teach it dragon pulse. WRECKS FACE!!!

Wow that actually works? What if I have a Japanese Chesnaught, and an American ditto? Does that have the same chance of making a shiny bugger?

I seriously cannot wait till I get my desired gender/non-stat harming nature'd shiny Espurr (breeding an english and japanese espurr together right now) and get a hold of some wi-fi so I can send a bazillion 'I see... ALL' named Espurr's into the Wonder Trade system and spread the Espurr love to the world. >:D

ok i have given myself a challenge of trying to breed at least a shiny charmander.lets see if i get one before the pokebank comes out.hehe.i'l try for a shiny eevee again once i get the shiny charmander.

I've been trying my luck in Miacoda's Friend Safari. I'm hoping to find a dang shiny Ninetales. (You're other two Pokemon are Growlithe and Larvesta, Mia)

So far it's not giving me it. =|
