Speaking of favourite Pokémon, I currently have an artist-obsession with Braixen. And by that I mean I CAN'T STOP DRAWING HER. Shame that, because she's the middle evolution, there's not much merch of her. I love Fennekin and Delphox too but Braixen has stolen my heart~

Okay so what is this. Shiny Eevee on Friday and shiny Gastrodon today, both without even trying. My shiny luck is NEVER this good. Ever. Whatisthis.

I'm up to 151 Espurr's named 'I see... ALL' I'm greatly amused by the number but not so much at how long it's taken me to get to that number, nor that I've yet to hatch a shiny (I've seen some people posting they're well over 500 eggs now and still not finding their shiny and all I can say is holy shit your tenacity is a beast). I've not even fought the 3rd gym yet and here I am hatching Espurr's day and night (rather slowly for the fact I only just made it past 150 when I started this last weekend. Tumblr, youtube, and FR is to blame) instead of saving the world or something. xD

Reading about the Friend Safari got me curious about what type my Friend Code would give me. After trying it with my best friend a few minutes ago, turns out mine is Dragon, and the three 'mon that showed up for her were Druddigon, Fraxure, and Noibat! o_O

Question, how do you friend safari? And how do you find out what your safari is o.O I only just discovered the wonders of wi-fi pokemonz last week so I'm absolutely clueless on everything except that wonder trading is like a blind date (blind trade? haha)

No problem! It's located in Kiloude City, which is only accessible after you beat the Elite Four. I found out what mine is because my best friend told me when we gave it a try.

Ahhhh another reason then my shiny hatching needs to end soon, I'm dying to go to the friend safari :0 Do you need wi-fi to enter or just to obtain the person's friend code? (I have no idea how you get someones friend code, nor where to look to see mine D:)

I'm not sure, but it may just be friend codes needed. I'd check, but my 3DS is charging in the other room, and to get your friend code, you got to be on the home menu and there'll be a yellow smiley face icon. Click that, and that's where you find your own friend code and where you register others'. If you don't have yours yet, you'll need to make an avatar in the Mii Maker in order to get your own friend code first.

Someone please correct me if I got any of that wrong. ^_^;

Thanks for explaining the Friends Safari I haven't gotten to beat the game (I'm usually done by now...I'm in my first year of college though and working a job so maybe that's why I'm still so behind T.T ) so I had no clue about it.

You can't check your own friend safari species, you need someone to tell you. After you've added someone's friend code and they've added you, they can see your friend safari and you can see their's. If they've beaten the elite 4, you'll be able to get all three types of Pokémon from their safari. Until they do, you can only get two. It seems though that it won't update until you've seen them online. :/ For example, I have Falconcrest's FC but it's not telling me there's a third Pokémon obtainable (That'll be Druddigon.) because I haven't seen her online recently. So I can get Fraxure and Noibat from her FC, but nothing else for now.

Apparently, the chance of obtaining shinies from the friend safari is increased to be the same as from the Masuda Method of hatching eggs. So basically, your chance of finding a shiny while in there is hugely increased to 1/1365 (Which is pretty damned high, considering the normal rate!) which might explain why I bumped into a shiny Gastrodon so quickly. Also, all Pokémon found in there have a guaranteed two IVs at 31 (Maximum), though those stats are random. There's also a high chance for the Pokémon to have their hidden abilities here too, I've heard it's about a 1/5 chance.

Aaaand there's everything I know. Hopefully it helps someone.
