A (slightly) belated Happy Birthday to you!

So I decided to tame a spider on one of my baby hunters, which is kind of surprising to me. (His name is Snyder the Spider. XD) Anyway, I was kind of disappointed to see that they and shale spiders seem to share all of the same emotes. I mean, I can understand some of them, but at the same time, I picture shale spider emotes being more...I don't know, elemental based I guess.

I personally am not sure if I can picture my shale spider making cotton candy out of webbing because I can't picture shale spiders making webs. Just my two cents, but I was a little sad seeing that the emotes seem to be the same between the two families. Their great emotes, just seemed odd to me. If I can think of some shale spider emotes, I'll be sure to report them here.


On a totally unrelated note, I love that my worgen warlock's felguard loves to ponder the meaning of life, death, and killing things. He even pondered 42 once.

So that covers the shale spiders emoting with their webbing, but like I said, I just felt kind of underwhelmed that they're exactly the same as the standard spider emotes when the two creatures look vastly different.

One shale spider one I can think of off the top of my head could be something like:
Shale Spider's eyes twinkle brightly.

Oh right, I should have elaborated! You do have a good point regarding the shale spider emotes. I was just pointing out that that one was okay. You are right, though; elemental-based emotes for them would be a great addition. Eyes that can flash are amazing!

Yeah, totally forgot about web wrab, that was my bad. >_<

One of the leg lift emotes that my shale spider did came off as odd because it coupled like a front leg and back leg one together or something, I just remember it seeming more suited to a creature with eight legs instead of four.

The chelicrae one feels a little weird on the shale spiders too since they only have those two little fang things. I mean, I guess it technically works, but I had to go look the word up and go "oooooohhhh, those are mandibles?" XD

Oh yes! That's kind of what I was thinking of but couldn't word right.

Shale Spider burrows in the surrounding earth, laying a web over the top and looking pleased with itself. (Going for like a trap-door spider kind of feel.)
