not really a rant but more of a "meh" - anyone else getting pre-expansion blues? I'm getting to the point where my main is geared as she can be (I do flex every now and then but I really can't be arsed) and now all i do is lvl alt after alt...I've started working on 2 alts capes but the grind is just ergh. Its also winter here so I don't have the excuse "its a nice day go do gardening/go for a walk"....and so another druid/hunter/warlock/DK is born ><

Also Bowno I'd probably make your brother pay for all those time cards, what a little shite!

I really should stop researching The Book Of Life movie. My god some people make mountains out of mole hills. If I was Mexican I'd be offended by these people! (not the movie people btw the er SJW? I guess thats what ya woukld call them)

I really want to see that movie, Cow. I'm... not so sure about the plot (looking REALLY cliche) but the art is gorgeous!

Eh does not look as cliche as most of the stuff Dreamworks or Disney has brought out in the last few years to me XD But I will wait and see.

Now on the other hand the Disney movie Moana? Yeah that I could see ruffleing some feathers over here well quite a lot really. I mean it's very hard to do anything here with Islander culture without angering people if you don't do it right and a big American studio like Disney? Yeah they are mixing gods and stuff from all over the Islands and oh boy I'm just waiting for that shit storm to come. XD

I often wonder how "whale rider" went down in NZ and "Once were warriors" since that paints a pretty bleak picture of Maori life. Probably the same with Aboriginal films here I guess although no ones been game enough to do a animated film all about them or the dreaming yet.

Yeah you do hear complaints about those movies and that one called "Boy" because "they show Maoris in a bad light/or show them as being poor and living in small towns" but those movies have their settings in real life. But it's true that a lot of them do live in small towns and it's true that a lot are poor. Not saying all of them are like that tho!

I mean most people don't complain about them. Those movies did really well in NZ! and I think a reason for that is because it's like real life for a lot of people. Once were warriors is a really hard movie to watch. I would say give Boy a watch as it's pretty good as long as you don't mind crying because it's pretty sad!

To be fair, isn't Maori life pretty bleak in general? Not by choice or anything, but I haven't heard of much good happening to them recently. :-/ Everything I've read has said that life for Maori people is really rough. (Not for everyone, as you mentioned Cow, but- it's not a group that you hear of and think "things are looking up for them!".)

I'd still suggest those movies if you don't mind feeling sad. They are good. Just be warned Once were warriors has quite a lot of domestic violence but it does have a famous line about cooking eggs >.< Temuera Morrison is in it and he is cool. If you've seen the 2nd Starwars movie Attack of the Clones he is Jango fett in that. Uh that also makes him all the clones too XD

Okay, I get that Alliance RP a lot in Silverbrook. That's all fine and dandy. My guild is perfectly fine sharing. They were up on the hill doing their thing and we were by the gate doing our own.

Well, one of them approached us flagged and tried bait us into pvp. We ignored him and went about our business. It wasn't until he decided it would be funny to mount up on his mammoth and in general... act like an asshat.

Guess said guild (Sadly they were from Moon Guard) didn't like sharing. >>;

I'm pleasantly surprised people are wondering why the parents let them on such a site rather than blaming the site itself. The slendy site is definitely not for little kids.

We actually bought an air freshener and sat it outside her room once to see if she could take a hint and she bitched us out because *she's allergic to air freshener*. Yep. And water, being her stupid reasoning for not showering. I could give you an entire book full of stuff she's 'allergic' to.
