I'd just like him to tell us if it's in SMV or not. If it is we are clearly missing something. If not, then we know to look more outside of the box. We still have Nagrand, gorgrond, talador, ashran, spires, frostfire to comb through even though none stand out to me as being involved except maybe FFR.

In either case, that hint is not going to give too much away or make it too easy for us... Because it could literally be anything in the zone. This would be the perfect hint IMO, just to set us on the right path.

Many still are combing other zones. Spires and Gorgrond don't seem like good fits to me, but at this point, without knowing what were looking for, who knows? :\

I had dreams about this last night - I wish I could remember more because there was a whole questline that was awesome! Of course I can't remember It's really driving me nuts.

But basically realize this - it's designed for us to Brute Force trial and error it - because if there were too many in-game clues/hints, they'd just be datamined up and we wouldn't really have figured out anything.

the buff is partially and 1hour. So in this 1 hour we must do and find anything. But what?

There are indeed no further information available. I think it only needs to be solved and did not make anything with a group to do anything in any case. That was never no matter what kind of challenge involved a rare pet to tame. It has never been so complicated.

Why are not yet so truly spectacular rares available. In Cata and MOP it really was so much right rares. Right from the start in beta. Whether pets or mounts. But until now in WOD?


Why every time a Buff gets added when using a new Lateren. I think this is not as intended or has nothing more to say and is not required. Use 1 time the lantern is just enough and in this 60 minutes you have to take the next step. But what

Has anyone checked here? I just lost my last lantern falling down there, but this area seems promising. Its the small island south of Socrethar's Rise (Not darktide roost, but the smaller one to the left), its called the Isle of Shadows

Working from my phone right now, can someone do me a favor and link a list of all the items that became available in this patch. Gonna start sifting through them.

so, just intuition, but I think at this point we are looking for either another item or a voidwalker to help us into the void/nether to find the lost netherwolf. Since Om'ra is at rest now, any other involvement with her would be to help us rescue the lost netherwolf from being turned......which will turn out to be Gara?

Just guessing. I'm checking areas with voidwalkers.

That sounds like those TCG items like Path of Illidan. Just a vanity thing.

Yeah that has come up a couple times. It looks more like the old TCG items than the Path of Flame that the rare drops, but no one has found it in game yet so not 100%.

I also just picked up these Ashes of A'kumbo and I hear they are consumed on use.

Do we know if they can be looted again once used in the wrong place?

Also, FWIW; I believe these are a part of the quest, as when I got the Treasure Map for Shadowmoon Valley I went and picked up them all -- and there was a bunch in these nooks so this item was NOT there before.

So, I think we're on to something (Thanks Perculia!!!)

They can't. At least my hunters haven't been able to loot them again. I've used them with and without the lantern buff at the grave Gara is at... nada

Now I'm just trying to figure out where would be the right place to Commune with the Shadowmoon Ancestors -- and I'm thinking the Burial Grounds perhaps? I mean it doesn't have to be more than just inside....
