Tirrae, Booty Bay-Azuremyst

Tirrae starred at the portal, calculating her options. She could stay, and maybe lose Azu again, or she could leave. If she left, she might die. But maybe she could persuade Azu to hide, to stay safe, not to do something so stupid again.
Still shaking, she silently willed Swift to keep her Hunter safe, then dragged herself into the Nether realm to escape Myri's grasp. She was about to do something incredibly stupid, but at least it had the chance of helping her Druid. She dove through the Nether, fading back an instant before passing through the portal herself.
Stupid stupid stupid stupi- CULT. Seeing the camp swarming with beasts, she faded again, desperately trying to find Azu's spirit trace.

Batlek, Azuremyst

Batlek frowned at all the commotion. As the ritual ended he left the pentacle, calmly motioning Lightfur towards it. Then he muttered a few spells, summoning a felhunter to his side. "Figure out what all this is about," he ordered sternly. The demon nodded, running off.

Myriana - Booty Bay

"Dammit Tirrae!" Myri shouted as the warpstalker faded from her grasp and waltzed through the portal. The hunter almost followed after, except that her legs refused to move because she was so terrified.

Threnaad and Zaruuk - Booty Bay

"Hey ho Zar." Threnaad said, poking his head into his room. "A little wolf told me you were remembering my sweet sister."
Zaruuk looked up to Threnaad, then shuffled along the bed to give the broken a place to sit.
"I miss her Thren." He whispered. "I thought I was over this."
"I know you do. I do too. Kyali just had this way of making everything feel better. It was like she had a fragment of the Naaru in her, or something."
"She was better than the Naaru." Zaruuk snapped, glaring at his old friend. "They did nothing to help us in our plight, she gave everything."
"Calm down Zar, I wasn't saying..." Thren sighed, then smiled. "I think this is how our conversation ended just before you went travelling two years back. You raging at the Naaru, me trying to calm you down."
"I'm sorry." Zaruuk looked away again. "... How do you do it Thren? Cope with the loss. I've tried to forget, but something always happens and she snaps right back into memory."
"Well, it's wasn't easy at first." Thren leaned back, his back against the wall. "But then, I just kind of let go of her death. That wasn't important. What was important was all the memories I had of the good times. Forgetting her completely won't solve your problems. Gotta keep the good times close to your heart. Know what I'm saying?"

Zaruuk just stared blankly forward. Thren scratched at his head, trying to figure out what next to say. "Hey, remember when Kyali first saw a sporebat? Oshu'gun had just crashed on Draenor and we were still exploring the place."
"She was so enthralled by them, thought they were charming with the way the bobbed around in mid-air. They just made me sneeze." Zaruuk mumbled, the smallest of smiles on his face.
"Yeah! She wanted to try and take one for a pet, but it folded over her head. Poor thing was just curious about her, but she thought it was trying to eat her face."
"I had to pry it off her head with my dagger. She never went near them again, if I recall correctly. Always shot angry glares at any hunter who dared run around with one. She would have been mortified to see Rose with her sporebat pet."
"See? That's how you do it! Just remember to good times, draw strength from them. She wouldn't want you to dwell on her death. She died so that you could live your life."

Zaruuk nodded. It helped a little, but the hurt was still there. His head shot up as he heard an almost unearthly cry. "That sounded like a warpstalker. Tirrae?"
"Crap I hope not." Thren said, standing up. "Means that Invisi-Cat has probably done something dumb. You all right?"
Zaruuk didn't answer. He was feeling a little better about Kyali, but he was still afraid of his demonic side breaking loose. But there probably wasn't enough time to deal with that right now. "I'll be fine."
"Good, go throw on a shirt or something, I'm going to see what's happening." With that the broken rushed down stairs. Zaruuk went to his room, threw on a spare shirt, and followed behind.

Azunara
Azuremyst

Azunara listened to the wail of the guard dogs, cackling to herself. Stupid mutts could only hunt her by sight, she had no smell and she glided soundlessly through the forest. She ducked into a bush, and watched them tear past her, barking and yowling. "Stupid dogs," She chuckled to herself.

Tara and Avarin
Cultist Camp

"Vin, go look around as well," She ordered the wind serpent, who took off and started flying low through the trees. She herself was trying to reestablish order in her camp, ordering several more cultists to join the hunt, and a few to try and calm the screaming beasts.

Myriana and Swift - Booty Bay

Swift ran up, feeling Myri's distress and seeing the portal up gave a whine. That mage was going to get her hands on her warpstalker and she couldn't let that happen, no way. Growing angry, the hunter's eyes flickered red and she stood up, trying to make her way to the portal and retrieve Tirrae. ((gogo bestial wrath))

Senisra - Azuremyst

The mage ran up to the portal interceptors to see what all the commotion was about and seeing what was on the other side, the mage almost died from glee. "There you are dear! I knew you'd be coming back!" she said to as she saw Myri heading for the portal.

Magna - Booty Bay

Arbennig heard unusual screaming from outside.

He ran out to investigate.

He ran up to Myri, wondering what was happening.

Tirrae, Azuremyst

Tirrae paused as she felt a surge of rage and determination from Myri's spirit bond. Oh, fel. What if the mage was here? She spun, fading back into the real world and trying to mingle with the other beasts, looking towards the portal. Myri was coming. And there... was a mage? Was that the mage? She shifted, worrying about Azunara, then snarled. Both of them were idiots. She charged at Senisra's legs to try and knock her down, distract her, while silently begging someone to stop Myri. She was here to save Azu, and she was going to do that alone.

Faron, Booty Bay

Faron sighed. "Why do I hear a bunch of yelling?"

Threnaad - Booty Bay

"Crap crap crap!" Thren said as he whirled outside the inn, almost crashing into Magna as he whirled about. He saw Tirrae's tail just as the warpstalker dove into a shimmering portal, saw Myri preparing to jump through as well. He doubted he'd be able to reach her in time to stop her, unless...
The broken abandoned his physical body, shifting into the form of a wolf spirit. He darted forward, limbs no longer stiff and sore, and snapped at Myri's armour, trying to hold her back. ((Ghost wolf, Thren has points in Ancestral Swiftness. >.> ))

Senisra - Azuremyst

Senisra let out a grunt of surprise as she fell. Turning she saw some beast she wasn't familiar materialize on top of her. Quick as a blink, the mage cast a polymorph spell to subdue the beast. She looked from Tirrae to the draenei rushing toward the portal and made the connection. Senisra smiled sweetly. Oh this would be fun.

The smile quickly faded as she saw her little toy being restrained. "Nonono!" Senisra quickly tried to recover from falling and sent a fireball through the portal, trying to knock Threnaad loose.


Myriana - Booty Bay

Myri kept making her way towards the portal, but not as fast as she normally would have in her enraged state, due partly to Arbennig and Swift being in her way. She was impeded further when she felt jaws snap on her armor. She angrily tried to pull her arm away from Thren yelling "SHE'S GOT TIRRAE!!"

Magna - Booty Bay

Arbennig looked at the mage, then Myri. He put two and two together.

He stood between Myri and the Mage.

Azunara
Azuremyst

Azunara heard screaming near the camp and snarled. They....they didn't follow her. They wouldn't be -that- stupid. She charged after into the camp and saw the mage attack Tirrae. With a scream of fury, she focused her energy and blasted a small bolt at Senisra. "Hey! Ugly! Bring it." She taunted. "Just -try- and roast me. Go on, I dare you." She kept one ear pricked for that warlock they warned her about. She didn't want to get stuck.

Kozri
Booty Bay

Kozri heard the commotion, pulling himself together and making his way over, snarling. He moved to help restrain Myri as well, as best as he could.

Senisra - Azuremyst

"So you're the one." she glared at Azu as the attacks hit and sent a blast of arcane energy at the ghost in retaliation. While it wasn't as powerful as the fire attacks she specialized in, all mages new some lesser spells of the other specializations. She also knew how to deal with ghosts.

Myriana - Booty Bay

"Let me go!" Myri screeched at Kozri and Thren, terrified for what that mage could do to Tirrae and Azu. She doubled her efforts at trying to break free, lashing out at the rogue with a hoof.

Tirrae and Batlek, Azuremyst

Tirrae started to screech again.
"Baaaaah."
She looked down at her claws and saw hooves. Oh fel. She was a sheep. How could a sheep help? Lamely, she tried to bite the mage. It was better than nothing.
When Azu came, she bleated with both joy and terror, trying to get between the bolts and the ghost.

Batlek slowly approached, observing from afar at first. What was this?

Azunara
Azuremyst

"That's me!" She said, lashing her tail. She darted away as the bolt came for her, though she didn't retaliate with her own. Three more shots. That's all she had left. She didn't want to waste them.

Threnaad and Zaruuk - Booty bay

Thren welt a complicated mix of emotions rushing though him. On one side, he did not want to deliver Myri right to the clutches of her tormentor. Seeing the mage now, looking at her face through the shimmering portal, he knew that he would rather die than see anyone tortured by her again. But, at the same time, he couldn't help but feel for Tirrae on the other side of the portal. Yes, she was an animal, but that didn't matter. Who knew what the cult would do to her? Especially the mage, given no other target to torture.
Well, he'd made stupider decisions.
Threnaad swung his head about tryign to unbalance Myri to get her out of the way of the fireball. He then bolted away from the spell, launching himself through the portal to snap his teeth at Senisra.

Zaruuk emerged from the inn just in time to see Thren leaping through the portal. He swore, blinking ahead to trya nd stablise the portal. Last thing he needed was his brother captured and tortured like Myri.

Myriana - Booty Bay

Myri went down with a swear and screamed as Thren dove through the portal "YOU IDIOT!" She struggled to rise to her hooves and dash after the Tirrae and now the broken as well.


Senisra - Booty Bay

The mage recovered and jumped to her feet, just in time to snatch the little sheep out of the way of her attack. "Ahh ahh dear. Nice try but that is not going to work." She quickly pulled out more of her rope to tie up the little beast but wound up dropping Tirrae as something else darted through the portal and attacked her. Cursing, she tried to freeze Thren in place, then with a grip still on Tirrae, she blinked away. (whoo weak frost nova)

Azunara
Azuremyst

Azunara roared, charging after Senisra, launching another bolt of energy. "You are not going to hurt Tirrae. Not while I still have energy to stand." She snarled.

Threnaad, Jraak and Lesari -Azuremyst Isle

The Arakkoa turned his feathered head and cried towards the intruders, fluffing his feathers up. He fired a bolt of lightning towards Azunara. ((Lightning Bolt))
Lesari sat up, looking at the portal in surprise. She jumped off Umbra, sending the cat forward to help deal with the intruders. She stood back for the moment, drawing Crescent Oath, hoping one of her two death knights would come through.

Thren yelped as he was frozen in place. Quickly, he resumed his broken form, trying to ignore the sudden ache as he reformed. There, he slammed down his four totems into the ground, calling a spell into each of them. ((Searing Totem, Healing Spring Totem, Earth Elemental Totem and Wrath of Air Totem))
Finally, he pointed a hand towards Senisra, trying to force the wind from her lungs. ((Wind Shear))

Fissure the elemental roared as he appeared, charging towards Senisra.

Zaruuk - Booty Bay

"Damn it!" Zaruuk hissed, unsure what to do. Curse his moronic, stupid brother! "Dive through, get everyone to safety! I do not want to leave anyone to the cultist's clutches!"

Myriana - Booty Bay

Myri dashed through the portal and tried to grab Thren. "We need to go before that mage closes it. NOW!" she grabbed the broken's arm while he had the mage distracted, terrified out of her mind. She threw down an explosive trap and hte milled cultists, trying to cause even more distraction. She looked around for Azu but didn't see her. Instead she yelled "Azu let's go!"

Myri looked at Tirrae in the mage's clutches, too far away for her to try and wrench her away. She silently told the warpstalker that she loved her and to hang on. They would be back to get her.

Swift stayed on the other side of the portal, ready to hurl fireballs at anyone who tried to get through, worried for his sister and their hunter.

Senisra - Azuremyst

Still keeping a firm grasp on her sheep, the mage cast another frost nova at the elemental baring down on her. She swore loudly as she saw her toy finally make it through the portal, but she was too far away to get to her. NO matter. She'd be back for her little pet, and Senisra was patient. She turned her attention back to the elemental, ready to defend herself against it.

Azunara
Azuremyst

Azunara heard Myri call for her, but completely ignored her, instead sticking to the shadows and trailing Senisra, silent. There was no way she would ever let that mage hurt Tirrae. She would die again first. Luckily, Thren's elemental kept her distracted, so even if sneaking after Senisra was kitten's play, it was made even easier. "I'm coming, Tirrae." She said softly.
