Great, my mum's decided to invite my gran and grandad along when we go for a coffee on Tuesday... My gran'll be the same as always...

Gran: How's uni been?
Me: I don't know, it's the summer holiday, I haven't been at uni recently.
Gran: So what have you been doing?
Me: Not much. Enjoying my time with my friends/the sun, trying to sort out council stuffs, other boring stuff.
Gran: You should get a job.
Me: Because getting a job here in Middlesbrough is that simple.
Gran: Has Corey found a job yet?
Me: No, as I said, the job market here is sh--
Gran: So what's he doing?
Me: Well he's trying to get into uni right now... you know this already.
Gran: That's a bit of a cop-out.

And I thought *I* could be the miserable, depressing one at times. Urg. My gran looks down on my boyfriend just because he can't find a job. This gets soooooo draining after a point. -.-

It's because our elders are from a time where getting a job was like falling off a log. :/ They just can't see how different the job market is nowadays for us and how hard it is to land a job. Sure, we have our fancy high-tech gadgets, but landing a job is like chasing rainbows: extremely difficult and sometimes next to impossible.

So I'm trying to level a lowbie in wow. Thanks to all the crz and merging, I'm having to camp for quest mobs. Progress is painstakingly slow. it took me 3 days to finish one quest.

I wish people had fucking spines and did not get butthurt over every little thing in the history of ever. Having to walk on eggshells so that you don't get spammed from butthurt people is so bloody brain hurting.

I hate my neighbours, a mother and daughter both so selfish they don't care about anyone but themselves. For 4yrs they have blocked me into my own carport by parking in a vistors bay that isn't even theirs! I've asked them to please park in the bay beside that one but no. And if we dare to park a car there for 5mins shes out the front asking how long we'd be there!!

This weekend was the icing on the cake - they both parked like complete dicks (mum was half on the grass i have to use to get out and forward - her daughter in the carport and forward) so i had to snake my wat around them grrr! I am half tempted to borrow someones car and park it there and if they ask how long I'll reply UNTIL YOU LEARN THAT ISNT YOUR SPOT!. Strata sucks ppl.

Job centre's screwed me over again.

I slacked a little on looking for work one week because it was too damn hot to really do anything much, but apparently suffering in the heat isn't a valid excuse. Neither is "no one replied and I got no answer when I called them". They sanctioned me and even though I've petitioned to get my benefits back and worked doubly hard on my proof I still haven't gotten anything. Worse, I literally have no money left so even if I did get an interview I wouldn't be able to get to it unless it's in walking distance of my house.

Seriously job centre, how am I supposed to get a job if I have no money to get to the job? And aren't you meant to help me look for work? Not dangle a bundle of cash in front of my face and then take it away if I fail to meet your standards by even one application. What happened to actively searching with your client to find stuff they like and make sure an app has been made? So fucking useless.

The job center is the damned most useless, unhelpful piece of shit in the UK, I swear. Did you hear about the ex-soldier who had his benefits cut because he didn't turn up one week because he had to look after his sick mother and he died with about £3 to his name and no food? Disgusting. I can't wait to leave this horrid, selfish country.

Gosh I know I shouldn't really moan about my problems and all but it's this or I talk to myself about it and cry all night over it. I think I like my sleep better. Either way, there's several things wrong with my life. One of which I can't speak of, or won't. Not after that being the reason my bf basically didn't care about me and when I broke up with him, he admitted he didn't care :/ it doesn't help when people who are meant to be friends bring it up and poke you, to get a reaction. They then make judgements, have the cheek to get pissed at you over your problems. Then, when you get annoyed back they go all sassy on you and act like they've done nothing wrong. It's fine. I didn't like her much anyway. She's proven to be too two-faced for my liking. But when you're in a girl group, you can't fall out with one person. You are kicked from the group, simply because you dislike that one person. So I keep my mouth shut and don't say anything to her. Not that she'd care if I cry at night because of her actions.

Also...can people stop dying around me? The first was a shock. The second...I struggled. The third I've had enough. I've got around 5 family members that I both see and like. 5. I once had a huge family. They're all dropping like flies and I can't deal with it. To know that I've got to go through this pain over and over...we'll not discuss what I contemplated doing shall we?

Thirdly-arguments. Oh my god they annoy me so much! You say one thing, someone gets annoyed and BAM! The s*** hits the fan, as I like to say. Especially when it's over opinions. Like OMG why?! Or I leave a comment on a video and I get the reply "because you touch yourself at night." I was talking about laughing...like what?! Jesus Christ I'm going to have to purge my brain right now...ugh. And I just ate a donut...with strawberry icing and sprinkles. I was happy. Then...puff the magic dragon flies by and it's all gone to pot. How ironic. Puff the magic dragon was sung by people what were high. No joke. Puff was referring to what they were doing and the magic dragon part...well you guys can figure that out yourselves I shall go post on the happy thread now...to balance this all out

Dear Volunteer Coordinator at the Animal Shelter.

Why the hell did you think it was a good idea to stick me ALONE in the puppy room for 3 hours with 16 puppies to look after. Yes I know there's a few dogs in Isolation that have Canine Parvo and yes I know how dangerous it can be. But these are PUPPIES that are lovingly going in their cages... which is they do the lovely number 2, I need to clean THE WHOLE CAGE OUT AND I CAN'T LEAVE THE PUPPIES OUTSIDE ALONE. Not only that, but you also left only one person in the large dog room (which had some puppies in it) and the poor new girl in the medium dog room alone (which also had some puppies in). Even your everyday staff members were confused why we were left alone. I was god damn relieved when the 4:00 volunteers showed up on time to help out.

On top of that, she left early... right when we were going to ask for help in our respective rooms. Just... urg. Her communication skills are very much lacking.

Since I did that reblog yesterday I've got so much shit from people on Tumblr I'm really considering leaving it. They call it "social justice" but it's just abuse.

So I had a summons for Jury Duty yesterday. I went in.. And instead of just getting to sit there through one little thing and be done with it, I got called for Grand Jury, which means I get to go back from the 6th ALLL THE WAY to the 2nd of next month doing stupid Jury stuff.
This is not how I wanted to spend my month. This is dumb.
Augh.

On the bright side, at least here, if you get called to Grand Jury it means you'll never get called to jury duty again once it's over, they take you off the call list.

Yeah, and that's the only good part about it. It'll be $25 per day. Which I guess isn't terrible.. But still. I'd rather not do it. Ugh.
