Haha, my Har'har approves the use of Dunsparce...seriously, these little critters are actually pretty fun ^^

I just got Y for Christmas and Dunsparce was one of my first catches too! I adore mine and he even beat the elite 4 with me

Yeah, it's weird but I'm growing rather fond of mine, too! It looks so fat when it emerges from its pokeball. It's cute!

And yay! I just caught my white-flower Flabébé! I named her Daisy. She has a Timid nature (so low atk), and I generally try not to get natures that lower either attack stat, but I figure I'll teach her mostly sp atk moves anyway. I don't battle competitively, so it's not a huge deal. She'll probably be a little weaker for a while, but I'll manage.

I think I have my beginning team set! Until I find other pokemon that I looooove, I have:

Espyre (Fennekin) - keep!
Raiden (Pikachu) - will be replaced with another Electric probably
Artemia (Panpour) - will be replaced with another Water
Skittle (Spewpa) - might switch out for a different type at some point, we'll see
Dunsparce (not named yet) - like it and am thinking I might keep it, at least for a while >.>
Daisy (Flabébé) - keep!

Of course, this is all subject to change as I've only just beaten the first gym and ventured out into the first patch of flowers on Route 4.

Is the poke transfer thing up or something? I can't figure out what's going on here and I don't have any updates for my 3ds.

I thought the release date was still tba?

Will re-starting my game mess up the Friend Safari? I took the dark skin tone because I wanted brown eyes, not realizing you get a Lens Case later in the game. I prefer the more medium skin tone.

My Eevee will be a Flareon because I like Flareon. I know it gets all the hate but I think it's cute XD

Nupe, Friend Safari is bound to the DS IIRC so you'd have to like, restore the DS or something to force it to generate a new code

Flareon's actually one of my favourites. :3 ... Then again, I like all the Eevees, so bah!

Flareon doesn't get so much hate anymore though because he finally has a decent physical fire attack in his learnset to match his high base stat. I know that doesn't instantly make him perfect, but it's the main reason people raged about him so much. *eyeroll* I for one love a Pokémon regardless of their moveset. :3

This kinda reminded me, does anyone else refer to some Pokémon as specific genders? The Eeveelutions for example. Espeon, Sylveon, Leafeon, Glaceon I would all consider very feminine and would instantly refer to as 'she' rather than 'it', despite the fact that 87.5% of all Eevees are male anyway. *sigh* That never made sense to me... But Jolteon, Vaporeon, Flareon and Umbreon I'd probably prefer and consider to be male. A little bit of lenience on Vaporeon, but my Kai is male, so that doesn't help me much. xD Legandaries reaaallyyy depend. I know they're meant to be 'it' and I think even in the movies they refer to them and each other as 'it' but when they slap female voices on movie Pokémon like Virizion I instantly want to call it a she. The Mystery Dungeon game didn't help that much either. It also depends on how attached to them I am. And what exactly they are. Pokémon like Genesect I could easily call an 'it', for obvious reasons. Keldeo is very much a 'he' to me. As is Mewtwo. Mew's one that varies from person to person a lot I've noticed, but will always be a 'she' in my eyes.

I'm sure this has been brought up before, bah. But I only realised after I wrote that paragraph so dealwithit. xD;

Well, my starter hatching has met a block...with the purchase of Skylander for the 3DS...^^ That games is SOOOOOO much fun!!!!!

I see all the eeveelutions as female >_____> The only ones that could MAYBE pass for males in my head are Flareon and Jolteon

For me, I refer to Mienfoo and Mienshao as she while Hydreigon is always he even though I have a female one on Black 2. Lucario is another I refer to as she despite the fact that most Lucarios are male, reason being that my very first Lucario in Diamond was female. Noivern is another I always refer to as male. As for the Eeveelutions, Umbreon, Vaporeon, Glaceon and Leafeon I see as female, while Jolteon and Sylveon are male. Flareon and Espeon can go either way for me, since I've raised both males and females of these species in the past. I used to regard Espeon as male only, but my Espeon on Y is female, so that's helped change my outlook a lot.

As for Legendaries, I tend to see most of them as male, while Articuno, Moltres, Kyogre, Suicune, and Shaymin are quite feminine to me despite having no set gender or attributes to make them clearly male or female. Despite looking masculine, Zekrom is female to me, though I used to go both ways in regards to her, but now, she gives me a very feminine vibe. Reshiram has always been male to me despite his effeminate appearance, but he's always given off a masculine vibe to me.

I just go by what they are in the games XD If I catch a female it's a female etc

Ah, whew! I would have felt really bad resetting the Friend Safari for something as silly as my character's appearance. But, I wanted my character to resemble me, and she didn't. Thanks for the info!

Sorry for the double post, but CRAP! I had an extra Dunsparce, and I traded it in the Wonder Trade because I didn't really understand how it worked. I thought I'd be able to decide whether or not to accept the other person's trade in return. So in return for my Dunsparce, I got a Budew. >.> Well, at least now I know. I still have one left, and it's female, so I can breed it someday if I really want to and trade it to people who need it. But still, learning the hard way always sucks!

I need to try Wonder trade.

Wonder trade is addictive!! And awesome for getting different ID's for the Daily Lotto. I always win something now
Rhyela, at least Dunsparce are easy enough to re-acquire I got a Tornadus (therian) from wondertrade, not sure if the person actually meant to "random" trade it...Someone else here got a Zyguard!! So...never know what you're going to get!!
