Rhyela, at least Dunsparce are easy enough to re-acquire :D I got a Tornadus (therian) from wondertrade, not sure if the person actually meant to "random" trade it...Someone else here got a Zyguard!! So...never know what you're going to get!!
Yes, very addictive! I have literally spent hours just trading back and forth wondering what I'd get. Sometimes you end up with really awesome pokemon, or ones that you've been hoping to acquire. As long as you have some expendables to trade away there's no real risk. :)

Hmm I'm not even up to the 3rd gym yet (I'm still in this mirror cave thing) but I will give it a go when I get out. I have no clue what to do. You do do it in game right? :/

Yup. From this screen:

You just pick the pokemon you want to trade, and it will search for someone else using wonder trade, and then it "trades" just like any other trade. (wi-fi connection required of course)

It's like a blind date of pokemon trading. You offer up something and you have no idea what you're going to get in return, but if you don't like what you get then just trade that new pokemon again and again until you end up with something you want to keep. :)

Well I got some doubles just now for trading. Just have to wait till tomorrow when I'm at my house because my 3DS is not set up for my uncles net and I'm to lazy to set it for it XD

It does sound like it is fun!

... I feel like the dumbest person ever for not thinking of this, LOL. Why offer another of mine when I can just trade away the junk I just got? I would feel bad giving someone a crappy Budew for something awesome though. I say crappy because it had a crap nature. But on the other hand, I felt bad trading away a decent pokemon for a crap one, sooooo. It probably happens to everyone. I did get a Japanese Shuckle for a Scatterbug though. :P

Also, on some website I read that it's best not to offer up the beginning ones like Scatterbugs and Budews and such, I guess out of courtesy? That makes sense. I'll probably try to wait until I get some better pokemon before doing it again.

Oooo, I just found and caught an orange Flabébé! I named her Marigold. :3 I think I might like that one even better than the white! *goes to check nature* Hmm, she's Quirky. Well...I guess it's better than one with -sp atk. Poo. Well, I'm out there looking for white ones anyway (to hopefully trade), so if I stumble across another, maybe I'll keep that one. ^.^

I dunno I just got a bunch of Woobats for my trades. That totally was not because a trainer in that mirror cave kept beating me and so I had to do a lot of running back and fourth XD

I ended up using an orange Flabébé with a Quiet nature (+sp atk, -spd). Its speed is low anyway, so I didn't think having -10% would make that much of a difference. I looked on Serebii and it looked like one of the less impactful stats. I think I have two left if anyone wants one! One is Quirky and the other is I think Sassy. Both are named Marigold, though I'm able to re-name them back to Flabébé now that I found the Name Rater. :)

When I Wonder Trade, I literally just breed a box of whateverpokemoni'mcurrentlybreedingforshinies, trade them away, refresh, continue. I rarely keep the Pokémon I'm traded over unless it's something awesome. And as of yet... I've not really got anything awesome hahaha.

And then of course I collect up millions of Poké Miles and buy a buttload of Rare Candies off the Global Link hehe. Leveling is easy these days.

I know I once set out a Zygard in Wonder Trade because I planned on restarting my game and had no intention of keeping it. I wonder if someone got mine...

In other news, I have decided I need to go on a shiny charmander hunt for reasons predominantly related to Finch. But now I can't advance in my game until I have it. This is gonna be funnnnn. Ugh.

Oof you actually decided to do the shiny hunt? Hope it goes well! x.x

Finally got to Victory Road. I really want to shiny hunt in friend safaris like a lot.

So my first thing I got in Wonder trade was an American Fletching from Tennessee but I already caught myself one of those at the start so I traded that and got me a Mexican Fennekin! :O That is now my fourth starter as I started with Froakie.

Wonder trade is very neat I will say!

I had gotten a Zygarde from Wondertrade...completely threw me off (I've still not bothered to get him yet in game).

Okay, I want to make sure I understand this correctly: the "Masuda method" of breeding to obtain shinies only requires that you have one parent from a different region than your other? I ask because I took Fennekin as my starter (male). I just received a Japanese Braixen (female) via Wonder Trade. Sooo, if I ever for some reason wanted to try to get a shiny Fennekin, that is all I'd need? Or does it need to be a Ditto? I think I've read on here somewhere that it doesn't have to be a Ditto, but I just want to be sure because I was pretty excited about it. She has a really good nature too, and I think her ability was something different, too. Yeah, "Magician". It just seems like a pretty decent pickup for me.

Truth be told, I know almost nothing about breeding. I've never done it in any Pokemon game before.

Oh, one last thing, how do you access someone else's Friend Safari? I'm quite interested in someone's safari. I can't remember whose (it's on page 1), but they have a Luxio and I'm interested in using it. I got a Shinx in Wonder Trade too, but I'm weird and like to give my pokemon nicknames, so it'd bother me that I couldn't name this one.

You got it as far as I know Rhyela, ditto isn't required! Having a ditto from a different country is just exciting because it means you can Masuda Method for every pokemon you've caught.

Do be warned that it might take forever though! x.x

You can only find out whats in your own Safari when a friend goes in and finds out what pokemon your safari has.
