Braces, I know you're meant to help me with my teeth but...must you hurt me so much? Why must I be unable to sneeze without my mouth momentarily erupting into pain? You're lovely in the end but...now I hate you. And mr teeth-man, when you're fiddling around in my mouth and jabbing my teeth and twisting stuff with sharp scissor things...don't slip while you're pressing down and twist these sharp object into my gum! I know it happens but...I'd rather not look like I'm having a fit in your chair as you poke and stab me.

Also...elastic bands with these braces. To remove my overbite. Yup. Also, to wake me up at 3 in the morning with the need to tear these bands out my mouth. :D I love braces. Especially the part when my mouth begins to tear itself apart because of innocent elastic bands. Always the best bit.

Yep, braces suck! I had them in for almost three years when I was younger, the elastic bands and all. But they're so worth it in the end! :D

Alright guys, shall we stop with this lil argument you two have going on here? There's not enough facts to keep it going really and it's going from rant to...un-ranty? *breaks into song* let it go! Let it gooo! I don't even like Frozen....bleh. Hyped up piece of yellow snow that it is. That was my best insult ever :P

Yup. Frozen. What is the fuss? Here I'll get bombarded with people going "OMG it's sooooo good have you never seen it?! Oh my Lordy lord you've never seen it! Shame on you! Die! Dieeee!" Reaosn I've never seen it? In all honesty...look at it. It's a land of snow with a talking snowman, some reindeer and two guys and girls that fall in love or whatever. Bleh. It's worse than toy story, and by God I hate that film. Probably because I spend too much time watching transformers, the Michael Bay ones, and have been brainwashed by explosions  it happens.

I just joined by top and bottom teeth together...never again! The pain is spreading! Soon, my entire face will drop off and burn and...perhaps not. My face will stay on, I think. I know I'll be thankful for braces eventually...but in the dentists room there's a cabinet of thank you cards. The way he's going...he's not getting one from me I'm afraid *crosses arms*

Wait, what?! Are they $^!@#%! insane? Tomb Raider has *always* been a PC game! Damn, I was looking forward to Rise since I saw the trailer - having Lara work through PTSD seemed so fitting after what she'd been through. Well, guess I won't get to play that game then. Bah! Rant +1.

Xbone exclusives eventually come out for the PC. It's the lack of Playstation that irritates me.

OK I'm going to delete some recent posts here and am explaining why.

The rant thread rules (which are not set by me, I just maintain them) allow people to rant, even rant irrationally, within limits but otherwise without reproach.

I don't want to stifle supportive comments or even "hey maybe you should try X instead of Y" comments if they're well-meaning and helpful.

But please do not ever use the fact someone posted publicly here as an excuse to dissect their life publicly as well. Even if it's well-meaning. Please contact them privately if you're genuinely concerned, and if they don't want your advice then leave it at that (unless it's a criminal or suicide situation).

Thank you :)

The more I read about what's going on in Ferguson the more disgusted I feel. I can't believe anyone could ever think racism isn't real. This is horrific.

Heck, even Anonymous got involved in the effort to get justice.

Alright Mother. I know the dongle that allowed me to have wireless Internet was bummed. Yes, I had to use a book to keep it upright. Yes, I'd get dc'd for no reason because of it. At least it worked. At what point did you think sticking superglue to it was going to make it any better?! Clogging up its circuit thingies?! Is that a good idea?! No! Now my computer won't connect to the Internet. At all. Meaning I have to use the downstairs one. Which, while good, is downstairs. People will see what I'm doing and get nosy *growls* well then, someone's going to have to buy a new dongle. From where, exactly?! Is that even they're called, dongles?! Oh my God I've no idea! *grumbles as I begin to google random names for a new dongle*

Edit--at least someone in my house knew what the actual name was. Yes, it is called a dongle. And apparently they're all for phones :/ like what?! And the only place to get ones that are for computers is out of stock. So amazon it was. At least we found a dongle there. Just a few days wait. A few days of...sitting in front of the big screen and feeling so low down in that nasty chair and the screen going funny colours and HOLY POOP FART THERE'S NO LAG!! Makes my computer seem slower than a school computer. Heh. Wait. It was slower than a few computers at my school...

Went to the cinema. Thought it would be fun. An advert for some typical paranormal/possession film came on. Normally they don't bother me but... there was a crucified dead cat on the wall in one shot. I'm very sensitive towards seeing dead animals, cats especially. Apparently it triggered something because a few minutes later I started crying and had to leave the theatre. I was alright afterwards but... I wish they wouldn't show things like that in trailers.

We can all agree that whats happening in the US is pretty screwed up atm but saying we (as in other countries) should send in people to stop it is not smart. That's like invading a country and you know that would be declaring war on the states >.>

Like guys that would just make things worse.

Wat, no, definitely not other countries! Though I'd be happy if our OWN COUNTRY would do shit about it, that'd be nice.

St. Louis has always been kinda bad. (East St. Louis -specifically- had a reputation for being a nightmare pit even when I lived in MO, about 18 years ago...) It appears to have hit the point where it's melting down. I would've pegged Detroit as being Most Likely To Implode before St. Louis but then the recession hit, a lot of people moved away, and now it's washing out to sea so I suppose they have other things on their plate atm. I don't doubt that wheels are in motion to deal with this, but given the idiot repubs block everything Obama tries to do, (and are probably supporting what's going on anyway) it may take some time to get it settled. Still, no one outside the US should (or can easily, given the city's smack in the middle of the country) mess with it or it'll turn into an even bigger, internationally-delicious shitstorm.

It's our shitstorm, we'll deal with it. Eventually. Probably not efficiently. But it'll get dealt with.

You guys would not want our government involved in it anyway. They are too busy throwing petty mud at each other over the election next month to care about anything really.

My rant is that our Prime minister John Key is a total dick. So is Kim Dot Com. He's a giant fat German dick.

The world's going to hell, that's all I can say .------. *has been watching the news for the past couple weeks*

Least Hamas and Israel keep agreeing for cease fires, even if sometimes someone attacks the other prematurely anyways. Hopefully that will simmer down in the coming months. ISIS is still a threat that needs to be cut out ASAP. And someone needs to step in and put an end to these attacks on protesters in Ferguson. There's video everywhere that police are attacking peaceful protesters and not raging rioters (even though that was a thing that happened for a while early on).

Pretty sure all of em need to be charged given the amount of evidence against them in dealing with the protest in general, and get some damned communications opened to finally get some definitive answer on whose at fault in the shooting. A terrorist group and a country can establish cease fires and negotiate terms an conditions to ending their war and inevitably change the lives of hundreds of thousands of people permanently, and actually hold it for a rather astounding amount of time, but the justice system in St. Louis, US, can't take one moment of their time to properly sit down and gather evidence to a potential crime of an individual and needs "all da gunz and gas" to prevent a fictional wild outbreak of violent retaliation.
