Myriana and Swift - Goldshire
Myri heard Kozri's growl and looked over at him. Something had happened and it wasn't good judging by the expression on the human's face. A feeling of dread washed over her. She ran over to him and turned him towards her "What happened?!?"

Faron and Beasts, Elwynn
The snake, clearly not seeing who was enemy or friend anymore, hissed angrily as it was hit by the poison. It lashed at the wolf, flashing brightly as it attempted to blind the ranger. The poison flowed through its system, burning, and its tail lashed in pain.
The warpstalker kept an eye on Azunara as it moved further into the forest. Soon it was fairly close to where Faron was fighting, and Vallrok appeared with the glass orb in hand.

((Writing Tink out; I haven't had any real inspiration to RP her recently and don't want her sitting around uselessly.
Also, I'm off to work, I'll post when I can.))
Tink--Elwynn
Tink saw the beasts and crazy gnome warlock, and felt completely overwhelmed. Deciding this was more excitement than she could handle, she teleported back to Goldshire, grabbed her stuff, and then teleported to Ironforge.

Azunara
Elwynn
The druid bristled a bit, growling, "Why me? The others are a lot stronger than I am." Even if none of them had capabilities of answering, it felt good to lay out the question. She lashed her tail, baring her teeth. Even if she went with them willingly, she wasn't going to be weak.

Kozri
Goldshire
Kozri tensed, shouting hoarsely, "Azu!" He looked at the others, seeming to be debating something. The guards were mostly gone or dead...He peered at the forest, and finally made a decision, running into the treeline.

Faron and Warpstalker, Elwynn
Vallrok stared blankly at Azunara, but his voice had Faron's emotions in it. "You're the only one that would come without getting yourself killed. Giving yourself up for your friends is valorous, but extremely foolish, I'm afraid."
Faron, watching the beasts control the fight, fled. He emerged from the forest and padded over to stand before Azunara. He turned his head to the orb Vallrok was holding and the troll began to murmur again, the light-consuming "glow" beginning to pulse from the orb. The troll held it before Azunara, still murmuring. Faron flattened his ears, soft, wordless whispering starting to echo in his head.

Azunara
Elwynn
No turning back. Azunara braced herself, trying to look fierce and determined. It ended up looking like a fearful scowl.

Kozri
Elwynn
"Azu!" His call turned into a roar as he let his disguise go, unable to control himself. They had Azu. Something was happening, and he'd tear them all apart. Every single one of them. The trees would shake with his fury. He flared his wings, taking off into the sky to survey from above, giving out a fierce roar of warning. He was coming for them. And it didn't matter who saw.

Faron, Elwynn
Faron watched the orb for as long as he could, then closed his eyes to guard his mind. Vallrok kept his eyes open for longer, still murmuring. The jibberish was becoming harsher and something was writhing around in the glass. Then the troll closed his eyes, his voice fading as harsh, dark muttering echoed in the minds of those near the crystal.
Trsk'haz drath losh'kor'do. Gha'fta lok. Fear boils forth from the heart of darkness. ((Taken near-directly from the mindless slaves in Hyjal, from what I can gather this is *roughly* how it'd work. Something to do with Old Gods anyway.))
Guilt ate at Faron's gut, but he again forced it away, concentrating on the coming task of cutting off the connection to the Old One's mind before it went too far. He heard Kozri's roar, but Azunara would most likely scare the dragon away...

Gazz'nil, razil- elwynn forest
Gazz'nil jumped at the sight of kozri being a dragon she blinked "Hey razil....that guy didn't know we were blowing dragons to bits eailer does he?" razil snorted "Probably not"

Azunara
Elwynn
That wasn't good. She'd heard voices like that, once or twice in Northrend. But this...this wasn't good. At all. Go away, go away, go away. She whined, feeling terrified. She wanted to run, but was rooted to the spot. Worse was the images slowly creeping into her mind. Badlands. Trapped, unable to move. Kozri, Decay, Indi, being slaughtered, and she couldn't do anything. Watching them die, seeing them stare at her sadly, wondering why they didn't do a single thing to help them. She shuddered.

Kozri
Elwynn
Tipping his wings, he dropped lower to brush the treetops, scanning. He saw the chaos of the beasts fleeing, looking for the flash of white that was Azunara. He gave another screaming call.

Myriana and Swift -Goldshire
The draenei nearly fainted when Kozri shifted into a dragon. It explained a whole Fel of a lot though. Not hesitating a moment more, she and Swift took off in the direction the dragon had flown.

Faron, Elwynn
Y'knath k'th'rygg k'yi mrr'ungha gr'mula... Trust is your weakness.
Your friends will abandon you.
The writhing thing in the orb shuddered, lashing against the glass as if trying to escape. A slit-pupiled eye flashed within for a moment, fixing Azunara with a stare before gnashing teeth replaced it, then writhing tentacles. The glass orb visibly shook. Faron was counting down the seconds, tail lashing as the whispers mounted to demands that echoed in his mind.

Azunara
Elwynn
Azunara gave a loud whine, twisting it into a hiss. Make it go away! The whispers, the images...Go away, go away! And what if it's right? What if they would betray you? What if they want you dead? A small voice asked her, and she growled. It had to be wrong, they all had to be wrong. Were they wrong? Maybe it was right. Maybe they would abandon her. She was weak, wasn't she?
---
Kozri
Elwynn
He snarled, no sign of her. He circled around, making a bigger and bigger radius to search. He thought he saw Decay, the draenei at another point, but disregarded them. The worst part was he could hear something. Beyond the gripping fear, there was whispering. Incoherent, but there.

Faron, Elwynn
The voices latched on to Azunara's fear. They whispered tauntingly, the images in the orb thrashing at each harsh sound.
You are weak.
They are coming for you. They have turned against you... Now, take your revenge.
Twenty, nineteen, eighteen... Faron counted, ready to cut the connection. He had encountered whisperings before, some louder than others, but this was different. A window into the mind of the Old Ones was only a few feet away.

Glix and Karzix - Goldshire, Elwynn Forest
The two goblins exchanged nervous looks. What was happening? Glix stared at the direction Kozri had gone. At least the others' reactions had told her that she really hadn't just imagined the human changing shape into a dragon moments before he vanished from sight. "You don't think they're killing that elf druid, do you?"
Karzix slowly shook his head. "I don't know." Kozri's intense reaction made him automatically think of the worst possible predicaments Azu could be in. He crossed his arms and looked down. He had begun to like that druid, too. She did, after all, dislike gnomes.

Azunara
Elwynn
Azunara writhed, whining. She couldn't even escape the whisperings. She couldn't gauge what was a lie and what was a truth. Did they turn on her? Maybe they did. There was that huntress. And the gnome. Always trying to hurt them, yet trying to help them. Always lying. Maybe all of them were lying. Lying...
---
Kozri
Elwynn
He gave another screaming roar, as he felt the connection that had always been there, always so strong, tainted. With something. What were they doing? He gave another cry of pain, searching. There! Was that Faron? He angled his wings, moving towards what he guessed was Faron.

Myri and Swift - Elwynn
The draenei and fox kept running down the trail of destruction at a steady pace, keeping an eye out for signs of danger or anyone they might know. As she ran further down the trail she began to hear an unsettling whispering. Trying to shake it off, she and Swift continued on their way.
They picked up the pace as soon as she heard Kozri's roar ((aspect of the cheetah)).

Faron, Elwynn
Faron winced as he heard Kozri's roars getting closer. The whispers gained energy, booming in his mind. At least he wasn't looking into the orb...
Your heart will explode.
Hope is an illusion.
Death is close.
Kill them all... before they kill you...
The last whisper was a harsh demand, and Vallrok whispered sharply. The images in the orb, writhing madly to escape, blinked out. The whispers quieted to a soft hissing, but Faron knew they'd last for several hours. It was the side effect of having the mind so close. At least they weren't deafening him anymore - quiet whispers he was used to.

Azunara and Kozri
Elwynn
Azunara recoiled. The whispering was still there, but it wasn't as loud. She shuddered, looking down at her claws. They...were liars? They'd kill her. They'd hurt her. She gave a soft growl, and winced when she heard a thud.
Kozri snarled, landing. The connection was snapped. "What did you do to her?" He snarled furiously at Faron. "What did you do?" He repeated his question, quietly, darkly. He couldn't sense Azunara anymore, there was nothing. Just a gap, silence.

Gazz'nil, razil-elwynn forest
Gazz'nils face turned blue, the druid did so much she had to repay her somehow, but she felt a little sore even after all the healing, plus
she looked at sabatoth, she couldn't risk going anywhere without him at the moment
Razil sighed hoping the druid would be okay, once she was able to fully move again she would go help

Faron, Elwynn
Faron slowly opened his eyes, turning to face Kozri. His ears were still flat. The power of the Old Ones terrified him.
"Ask her," Vallrok's voice murmured simply. Faron looked towards Azunara. She seemed sufficiently influenced.
((Heeey, I remember that song!))
