I know they wanted fierce pets, but when will Blizzard accept that the scariest face can be the cutest!
I want more cute pets!
But on a side note, I actually love pets with ornaments, paint, or saddles. I think having armored pets is really cool and feels great when raiding or pvping. It's like putting shoes on your dog! Plus it even gives models more charm, esp with how rarely it's done!
Pets with special effects or accessories always have a dear place in my heart. I still want a stag that leaves a flower trail as a spirit beast, or has flowering antlers like the weapons with such effects.
((I do think the spectral sb is well overdone tho))

Imagine if sea turtles were made pets, but when on land they'd flop around at 10% speed.

That honestly is the only way I'd want to see them if they where tameable! Just like the mount.

I've wanted to tame that turtle model for ages. x_x Where are they on beta, so I can do it at least once? XD
I really wish they'd give us aquatic pets already. We've seen murloc and naga hunters in the class hall, so all they need to do is say they taught the other hunters to sustain a water bubble for them.

You can find them off the northeastern coast of Zuldazar or the western coast of Vol'dun
Well, we don't know if they use aquatic pets outside of water and, if so, if the use water bubbles on them. As far as I can recall, whenever we've seen Murloc or Naga hunters, they use things like land turtles or crabs for combat.

Heheh. While they'd fall behind and despawn in no time, I guess it's not too different to what happens to pets in Legion

The naga hunters in Tomb of Sargeras use Jellyfish.

A single instance of such, and we don't know how they do it or if it would even be possible with other aquatic animals. For all we know, these aren't normal jellyfish and instead are either created or corrupted by the Old Gods/Faceless Ones.

A new parrot model called Kakapo.
New crab models
Icons were datamined for the butterflies. They are intended to be mini pets.
An icon for Alpacas was datamined, so we should be seeing their model soon. Perhaps a new pet family?

Those crabs could work as mini pets also I'd think.
That literally is a oddly upright and thin Kakapo. I've seen them IRl and they are quite hunched and fat :lol:I wonder if it'll be flightless also.

I can't help but feel we might get a new family that consists of camels and alpaca.
But seriously that alpaca icon is adorable as frick.

It looks like the Kakapo has the skeleton and animations of Proto Drakes.

This is, perhaps, the greatest thing I've read in the last week.
Also it looks way more hunched, like the real-world version, here

This is delightful! I would like a mount, pet and minipet, please!

I am waiting for someone to complain and make having Kakapo in a non NZ based game is somehow offensive to Maoris. It ALWAYS happens and it ALWAYS ruins things.
As a Kiwi I'm happy to see something so random like a Kakapo in a big game like WoW and I wish others would be too!

The crabs have faction specific arms, I'm certain they're meant to be battle pet rewards from something. Armored crab pets is a mighty want, but these have battle pet written all over em :/
But I'd love to be proven wrong!

Aye, saw those. The skeletons are for Hozen, and the bat is intended to be in a swarm (rather low-res).
