Adam, if you have a problem with me I'll ask that you take it up with me in a PM rather than posting about it. -.-

It's meant for anyone not aimed 100% solely at anyone.

I was also disappointed by the new TRON. Not even close to the original.

I hate when someone on a thread makes a comment, innocent enough and just thier opinion, and suddenly someone takes it as a personal insult and derails the thread ripping on the person or trying to force thier opinions on others...I just want to read about the topic of the thread, not this other argumentitive BS. And then there are people trying to bring the thread back on topic and someone just has to pipe up about the topic that derailed the thread and starts it all over again...its really getting annoying.

*Whimpers, then flees* D:

You know what really annoys me? When I start feeling like everyone hates me. Apparently the only reason for me to even STAY on these damn forums is the Pokemon RP... Actually, hell, if the RP's didn't exist, I'd have skedaddled outta here a while ago. I'm sure a bunch of you now hate the RP's, eh? Cause the forums would TOTALLY be a better place without me, right?

I saw that and facepalmed. x.x; Didn't reply to it though, if you meant the one at the end. I was just thinking "Oh c'mon, not again dude!"

Leveling Engineering to 525 - it takes either a shitload of gold or way too much time grinding the mats myself. :P The fact that everything that gives me a skill point at the moment requires either 5 Hardened Elementium Bars (= 50 Elementium Bars + 20 Volatile Earth) or Electrified Ether (= 2 Volatile Air, which I find pretty damn hard to come by as it is) is driving me crazy.

Not to mention the insanely low prices that most Engineering products are selling for in the AH... 100 gold for a Finely-Tumed Throat Needler? Really? I could've just sold the 100 Elementium Ore it takes for 1k gold.

There selling the weapons at a loss. I saw the overpowered chicken splitter show up briefly for 25k. I lvled up my eng quickly so I was able to make about double the cost to make the weapons because there was hardly anyone who could make them at the time. This helped offset the cost of lvling up eng,

agree with you.

I hate when someone decides that your comment is somehow a "whine" or some other unworthy form of expression, then proceeds to dig at you in a thread, calling you all sorts of names.

And of course, if you try to set the record straight by repeating exactly your words, and demonstrating that it is nothing more than "my own opinion", they continue to attack you as a "whiner".

In other words, people who's own opinions are fine, but who deride others' opinions, really grinds my gears.

example:
person 1) I like movie-X
person 2) that film was crap
person 1) well, I liked it and enjoyed x-aspect of it
person 2) that film was crap, and that aspect of it was crap too
and so on and so forth.

another thing that grinds my gears: people who are unable to differentiate between their opinion and fact. far too many people confuse the two.

^- Above. And I can admit that I sometimes fall into this trap myself when it's a subject I don't know enough about, even if I try my best not to make debates if I don't know the context in and out. People need to learn to admit their mistakes, and not act like a victim whenever they haven't got the balls to say "I don't know/I was wrong".

I often come face-to-face with this particular issue in my line of work.
I don't mind people "liking" something, or "not liking" it, but when they start saying that something "is good" or "is bad" but have no friggin' idea what the hell they're talking about, it really grinds my gears.

everyone is permitted their opinion. we all have likes and dislikes. that's actually normal.
but to place your own like on a pedestal, or to use your dislike as a weapon against others.. well, horse-pucky.

even for myself, I can quite honestly say that there are things I like that are pure crap. I still like 'em. but at least I'm honest about liking something that is - analytically speaking - "crap".

Aye. I'm sure everyone has had moments in the past where they've got really defensive over something, and later on in the life when you look back at it, you feel very, very silly, if you've grown at least a little bit more self aware (See this is one of the words I'm not really sure if I'm using correctly. o.o English is not my mother language. I have an awful need to edit my posts constantly, because I'm not sure if my comment and phrasing came out alright >.< ).

On topic: Archaeology RNG.
