Also, with all these birthday dragons being shown lately, I'm feeling really really old compared to most everyone here.

heh i dont mind pink.. but my " Ohh i hope you turn into Slythering pearlie" went shadow/leaf/pink.... which in my book is a no go he had 5 scatters tonight.. none right

I got a trade request from some completely random person??? For one of my oooold six digit dragons, for some random dragon of theirs.
I rejected of course, I'm just terribly confused. They didn't even ask first or anything.

I think people who do that are hoping that you will accidentally trade away a dragon...which if some people do a lot of trading, is entirely possible...it's a rather underhanded attempt at theft...

Its sadly quite used.. I get it often.. a trade for some random dragon for either one of my hatchlings for sale or for one of the dragons in my lair

Weird I only ever had someone do that to me once and that was over a year ago

I had someone do that to me a long while back. They send a crossroads for one of my dragons for like 42 treasure or something. I had just woken up, so I thought someone was GIVING ME a dragon for 42 treasure. When I accepted, I suddenly realized what had happened and wrote a huge message about how I thought the crossroads was sending me a dragon and how I never offered any of the dragons to them, so the sudden request for my dragon was uncalled for and very frowned upon.
Luckily they ended up sending me back my dragon.. But it still was pretty bad.

I paid for a commission back in October last year and still haven't any word or progress about it. Artist pinged people today saying they're opening USD commissions and they'd take priority over their current queue. Um you mean the people who already paid you and have been waiting months. I just find it kind of rude. I'm too much of a little bitch to request a refund. Besides, they've already taken it and used it by now I'm sure

I would post on their thread asking in public how your art is coming along and mention how long you've been waiting.
Something like:
"Hey there! So I'm super curious about how my picture of ____ is coming along. I sent payment on _____ if that helps you find my slot any. I haven't heard from you since ___, so I was just wondering. "
That way, if people see how long other people have been waiting even AFTER paying, they will prob avoid this persons shop.

^ so this! As Bowno says, it will encourage others to avoid AND force the artist to respond - it's not acceptable that they are not fulfilling paid orders - if they need USD for real life, then they should refund those who paid with in game currency, and state when they can take those orders again.

When ppl write on their online shop that they are online but then dont respond ...waited half an hour already... siiiigh i need my gem fix!

I accidentally removed glimmer from one of my favorite dragons. Not a good start to my day. It's a setback of MONTHS of saving. Bleh.

Sold a skin.. scatted my gen 1 pearlie... 6 scatters and AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGHHH...
