With the news that even more BC raid pets are coming in a future patch, I've decided to have some fun and do the work for Blizzard.
The raids that do not have pets currently are:

Description: "Demons such as the Painbringers are vulnerable to capture after their masters are destroyed."


Voidhound

Description: "These foul creatures, summoned from the void, are corrupted relatives of the core hound."

Description: "This reanimated drake, barely more than a whelp, was found rustling in an overturned supply wagon after Archimonde's forces were defeated. It appears to have been freed from the Scourge's control."

Description: "When the Reliquary of Souls was shattered, hundreds of thousands of imprisoned spirits poured out of it. Some were more grateful for their release than others."


Dark Watcher

Location: Drop from Mother Shahraz

Description: "These stunted beholders can be found lurking all over the Black Temple. Strangely, they can be befriended with large amounts of raw meat."


Netherdrake Hatchling

Location: Drop from Illidan Stormrage

Description: "When Illidan's forces were finally crushed, the fel orcs of Shadowmoon were soon torn apart by the formerly enslaved nether-drakes."

( I still love the raid battle-pet idea, even if I'm a bit disappointed with the 5.3 raid pets. Was hoping to have a Tiny Lurker Below. )

Wow, looking back on this, I think my brain broke. With "Beast" and "Undead" I think I got confused with the different classifications of non-pet NPCs. Fixed accordingly.

I would like to see Chimaera and Jormungar pets; I'd like a Wind Serpent, too. Maybe the Hydra from Trigore, and a Wind Serpent from WC.

Gir ( ) Pet Type: Mechanical

Location:Engineering MoPish level

Abilities:
Tongue Lash (Start) (I can't really see him jabbing or punching someone, but licking yes.) - Nut Barrage (Level 2) (He will yell "Salted nuts!" when he does it.) - Inspiring Song (Level 4) (He will sing the Doom Song, or at least part of it.)
Dazzling Dance (10) (He will say "I'm dancen like a monkey!") - Lift-Off (Level 15) (With cute little smoke clouds under his feet.) - Explode (Level 20) (He will yell "FINELY! *giggle*")

Idle animations include; running in circles saying "I'm running, I'm running!", rolling on the floor before which he says "I'm going to roll around on the floor for a bit, k.", Gir's eyes turn red and he says "Blend in with the indigenous life, analyze their weaknesses, prepare the planet for the coming madness, yay!", randomly says things like "Tell me a story about giant pigs!" "Somebody needs a hug!" "Awww... I wanted to explode." "*starts crying* I miss my cupcake.", randomly sings the Doom Song. (I could go one but I would be here all night. )

I felt the current Jumping Spider abilities and model didn't do it justice. Obviously, the Nerubianspiderling model is not completely correct either, but with its legs in a position that seem ideal for leaping/pouncing, and huge eyes, they may as well just say that they are the WoW equivalent of Jumping Spiders.

As for them looking Nerubian.. well, we have mouse pets with rat models and lizard/monitor pets with warpstalker models. I think the new model would be an upgrade either way. It fits in well with Jade Forest's surroundings, and it looks great!

Besides, quite a lot of people want that model to be available in some shape or form. I still want it as a tameable spider (despite possessing 6 legs), but a battle pet is a good start!

Ooo, I'd love faceless and Nerubian spider pets!

All joking aside, excellent pet ideas! I really wish someone in charge of pet battles would take a peek at this thread...

And a note to everyone else: Please, leave me the Non-DS Cata/ Non-ToT Pandaria raid pets for future updates. This thread's popularity seems to come in waves, a whole host of new pets is all it takes for people to start posting again.
Wild pets are always easy to create, and fun to fit in.

We can always tweet @mumper (who seems to be in charge of pet battles), saying this is the sort of stuff people want to see as battle pets.

I'm glad you guys approve of my suggestions/post.


Funny thing is, I started and decided I was gonna make a png/transparent portrait for all of them. Then I made the first two and I was like "yeah no" because it took way too much time. I just decided to grab pictures of the actual mobs and resize them.. horribly.


They look bad but do the job.


That said, some names I wasn't sure about -- same for the descriptions, but I think it worked out pretty well. I changed the Morchok pet to Lesschok though. I didn't think of it myself, but it's genius. Great name! Thanks!


There's a few that I hope are going to happen badly. Among those, the Privat Xazev and Hologram pet. ( awesome, a mini Algalon, if I may say so myself )


I think it's best if the Faceless drops from Yogg-saron instead of the 'Organic Saronite'. I still really want a Lil'Cthun and Lil'Yogg though. Maybe from the Blizzard store.
