Shikijika could work like female burmy....the base form changes depending on conditions but the evolution is a permanent version of what the base form was during evolution (like a female Sand Cloak burmy evolving into Sand Cloak Wormadam)

As for the Dream world (accessible for syncing up with Global Link site): To connect to the Global Link site, you need to Sync up with the website over the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. This is done through one of two ways. First, you can sync up using the Dream Smoke feature given by the Pokémon Munna and Musharna. In addition to this, you can also then sync up through the C Gear. When you sync up, you send across just one Pokémon to enter the dream world from your Box.

While in the Dream World, you can play minigames with other pokemon and befriend them. At some point they challenge you to a battle. If you catch it, you can send the pokemon to your Black/White game. The Pokemon in the Dream World are generally not in the Isshu Pokedex. Atm there is no info on how to get specific species or if its just random. Seems Global Link is a sorta seperate entity from the games....like the Pokewalker 'cept you don't need to carry it with you everywhere.

Also of note: Syncing up with Global Link allows you to use a random battle feature in Pokemon Centers. You can fight random players from all over with this XD, kinda like PBR.

Global Link also allows you to download custom backgrounds for your Pokedex and C-gear (5th gen's pokegear/pokenav/poketch) and it allows you to download new songs for use in Pokemon Musicals (5th gen contests)

Also B&W has a different method of importing from the previous generation: the Pokeshifter. You must have 2 DS's for this. Get one with a 5th gen game in it and one with a 4th gen in it. A new menu option appears when you go to connect in 4th gen games...choose it. Then just pick up to 6 pokemon to import.

After the import, you play a minigame. This game shows a bunch of grass clumps, and the 6 or less pokemon you imported. The 'mons will be hopping from grass to grass. The bottom screen shows a classic hunting weapon...a bow. This bow shoots pokeballs at the location marked by a target reticule on the top screen. You need to use the stylus to aim the bow, then fire and peg each pokemon with the bow's pokeballs to fully import them. There is a time limit.

Wow, the games just get better and better!!
I am really looking forward to B&W!! The seasonal changes I think are the most exciting for me! we could se something similar in the current games-with Snowport, mountain elivations, and Cherrim's forms. Not to mention castform's weather changes.

Platinum update: I caught a good amount of legendaries since I defeated Cynthia. Caught (in this order): Regigigas (to unlock him, import Regirock, Regice and Registeel to either Diamond Pearl or Platinum, then put em in your party and take em to the weird statue at the bottom of Snowpoint Temple. The statue is actually Regigigas and will attack you. He is lvl 1 in Platinum), Heatran (appears in Stark Mountain after helping Buck defeat Team Galactic in there and then meeting him in Survival Area), Zapdos (appears as a Roaming legend along with the other Kanto birds after speaking to Oak in Eterna after meeting him at Pal Park...this is only in Platinum), Moltres, Cresselia (Head to Canalave city and enter the house near the guy that takes you to Iron Island. His son is stuck in an endless nightmare. Talking to him makes him say "Dar...Dark...is watching me!" Talk to his mom and she reveals info about Fullmoon Island and the Lunar Wing that will help her son. Talk to the sailor outside to sail to Fullmoon Island. Follow the linear path to the deeper part of the island to find Cresselia. Talk to Cresselia. She will disappear, leaving the Lunar wing behind. From now on, Cresselia will be a roaming legendary. As for the Lunar Wing? Take it to the sailor's son to cure him of his nightmare. You won't get anything as a reward but it does unlock something. If you save the sailor's son and have either downloaded or hacked up the Membership Pass item, you can now go after Darkrai). Articuno still eludes me.

I also fully completed Pokemon Ranger Shadows of Almia, filling the entire Ranger Browser and defeating the true final boss, Regigigas.

I have also beaten Pokemon Ranger (the first one in the series) and completed the special Manaphy mission (if anyone wants to know how to unlock the mission, lemme know). Now just need a second DS so's I can actually get the Manaphy.....also tryin to fill the browser for this one.

Magna, which game are you trying to evolve that Feebas on? I evolved mine on my Diamond game, so I might be able to give you some tips?

I just Pal Park'ed a Milotic for myself in Platinum.

Heh, Milotic is such an annoying Pokémon to get. I lost track of how much time I spent trying to fish up that Feebas. Not to mention several tries with her evolution. Thank goodness for being able to breed more Feebas. It's worth it to have such a unique and lovely Pokémon, though.

I have discovered the Awesome that is Lava Plume in Soul Silver. My Quilava learned it just before he evolved into Typhlosion and it one shot every one of Jasmine's pokemon. I'm in love with that move, I kid you not. It's just so..so...*drool*

I haven't got to play that much now since I have WoW back and I'm working my butt off (literally), but my pokewalker is getting good use!

News: Apparently in Japan, B&W are having a new event. A book coming out on September 10th in Japan contains interviews, and info about the games, and it also contains passwords that will allow you to find and catch one of the Kanto Starters (Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charmander) in the Dream World, and thus transfer them to your game. Also they will have different abilities due to being in the Dream World. It is unknown what the new abilities will be.

well, just got back from my trip. It was fun, also almost done raising my last two pokemon for my team, might even get them done today, then send em over to my diamond game and test out my team on someone...hmmm wonder who that will be

More news: The release date for the 3rd Pokemon Ranger game (Guardian Signs) has been revealed. It is due for release on October 4, 2010. This game has you playing as aveteran ranger that has crashed landed on the Oblivia region. You meet and befriend a Pichu that uses a Ukelele. You can travel through the land, the sea and the sky and even through time to try to solve everyone's troubles. This game also includes events for catching Deoxys, Shaymin Heatran and of course, the Pokemon ranger series staple: The Manaphy Egg. All of these can be sent to your DPPtHGSS games to play with. Note on Deoxys: It will require at least 2 players to complete the mission. And atm it seems multiplayer can only be done while in the vicinity of anothyer player playing the game,

if you go into your key items, and go to the palpad, you can look-up your Friend code, you can also add friend codes. I'd be up to trading for any (all?) of them.

ok, so if you go to the wi-fi settings and search for access point and get that sorted so you can use wi-fi, you'd then need to go to the wi-fi terminal in Jubilife City and get your friend code. Then post your friend code here.

Ahhh the good old HM slaves...which if you level them up can actually turn into the powerful allie! I use a pelipper and a machoke as my HM slaves.
