WoW Petopia Community

These are all friendly mobs, but worth reporting so they can be added to Petopia.

In the Arboretum in JF:

- Siftworm and Giant Siftworm. Both are in swarms of friendly blue caterpillars. Non-elites, level 90. Neither flagged as tameable anyway. So even if you could "go to war" with them you couldn't tame them

- Honeykeeper. Swarms of friendly yellow silithid wasps (non-elite model). Non-elites, level 90. Flagged as tameable, but you can't since they're friendly.

Honey keepers actually can be tamed. During a quest with the serpent riders they turn aggressive.

Is the green tiger still avaiable? I tamed him as soon as it appeared in this thread but I can't seem to find him anymore..the cave that had him in it has black tigers. Or am I looking in the wrong place? (the tiger was in the bamboo wilds-Jade Forest)

Wrong cave. There are a bunch of caves in that area. It's pretty confusing!

Ya I have been hunting him all day long on and off hehehe lost his tracks a few times today...when I was flying by and noticed the track and a worgen hunter ( I am Horde ) was also trying to follow his tracks I went ahead according to the map and started guessing and flaring...when he appeared! My heart stopped as he started attacking an Alliance char OMG I thought to myself he is going to kill him :'( I was so upset but than he noticed me and started running away from the crane and me after them hehehe and shooting at the crane to get him back on me.... when he than turned around and charged at me again phew I thought and started taming right away and he was mine! Gave the Alli a kiss to thank him for not killing my birdie I so worked hard for all day long! Showed the Worgen my birdie and wished him best of luck....for next time I guess
So yes the map saved me!!!! Big time as I went ahead of it... and also something to note I flared him but he went after the alliance beside him so I dunno want happened there he didn't come to me ?!?!?!
I joined a random guild...very nice folks cause I thought there was only alliance guild, I am on Lost Isles...my char is Libie on there..... Not sure if there is a Horde guild or not.

PS- This birdie is a killer to track...will give me a lot of heartache I think on live

See? To each their own. I personally think the green cats are the ugliest pets they ever put in the game lol. Savage is gorgeous though. I can't wait to see what the new Spirit Beasts will look like.

on dragonhawks we can tame? i know the sunreaver one is a stretch but now with armored raptors all of these could be viable new colors for the family....and it does need a few more colors because if the black and silver where tameable id use a dragonhawk more often. they are so majestic and underused

I'd certainly like to see those darker colours make it in sometime. Though I'm not overly fond of the family, I'd perhaps be willing to give the shrimperflies another try in the silver or black model.

And yeah, when a beast gets flared out, they'll attack whoever's in the flare with him.

I'm not looking forward to camping for him on live either.

Ah I see okay...hmm good to know I thought he comes to the one that flared him....thanks for the tip....ya live will be a pain in the butt for this guy...but I am sure will get him!

Oh okay cool...but I will stick in my guild only a month and half left and they are pretty cool folks

PS-Quick question for ya where do I get any quests to see the rare in the Eternal Blossom....he fades away from me so I guess I have not done anything in there?!?! Any idea?

Gief black dragonhawk plz.

In more literate terms, I'd love seeing those make it into the game, I'd have a hard time picking between my blue dragonhawk and one of them!

I had wondered if they might replace the removed windserpents with dragonhawks. They look like they fit Pandaria better, with the gracefulness of them. But I believe that's not the case. I don't want to derail this thread further, since it's not a wish-list thread, but I just wanted to address those comments. If you want, start a black dragonhawk love thread

There are rocks blocking the cave but /tar and the target frame shows you. Because of rocks in the way, cant get beast lore. I cheesed eage eye to get this screenshot.

Out of interest, if you eagle eye deep into the cave there's a single green fire spider as well, called Echoweb Toxiclaw. It's currently classed as a humanoid (but is a regular fire spider), which is presumably a bug. I've reported it. It's guarding a box called "Hidden Treasure".

Being an Elf, I prefer more color. I do in real life too. My favorite Dragonhawk model is the one I have tamed and named Smaug. The Violet one. I also like the Orange and red one.
