Sorry for being so negative lately. Ugh. I think everything's just been wearing down my nerves to the point where I barely have any filters lately. I log onto FR for a chance to relax and have fun, but I just keep running into the most horrible lot of back-stabbing, two-faced, lying, greedy jerks lately. It's enough to make me want to start flipping tables. I'm just so tired of people who try to act like your friend when they're really just planning to screw you over.

Random people who send friend requests. Normally I think "eh what's the harm" and accept cos I never hear from them. The latest one I accepted is now begging for dragons orz

Ugh var. I'd be tempted to let them know that's not exactly friendly behavior and unfriend them.

Is it that user safia? I had to block them on Otis because they kept sending him trades for dragons (like a dragon for a dragon), one of which is a dragon I bought from a Petopian and has a familiar. -_- I know I could have sent them a message but I wasn't in a polite mood so it seemed easier to block them.

Tyger - No, it's not them. Someone called wardog251. They sent me a friend request then shortly after I accepted they told me they were looking for a change and to buy new dragons. They didn't reply to my offer of the hatchlings at the back of my lair at first nor to pinglists for my pairs. The last message they decided they didn't want to buy after all cos they "don't have that much money" and asked to have some for free... I sent them a polite message saying no to that and how to earn treasure for themselves. I'll be ignoring any further messages I think.

1) SPRITES. I keep trying to save and it feels like they only get pricier.
2) I can't decide on giraffe, bought if I sell the poison scroll or poison scroll for this fae gal.

I agree SO MUCH on both of those issues, Tarn!

Also, I just saw a sales thread where someone naive to G1 sales hatched a very nice double and was looking for offers. Then a prominent G1 buyer comes along (who I know has an epic crap ton of money) and completely bamboozles the owner into selling said G1 for a pittance (under 500g). I'm feeling really really sorry for this person right now. They got completely and totally screwed over and they don't even know it. *sigh* People who unfairly take advantage of others really piss me off.

Also, said buyer used the line that they were buying the G1 for a friend, yet it's now in their lair with a note on how they want to gene it. Ya... I believe that line of BS. What a complete and total jerkface. I really hope Karma comes back and bites them right in the arse.

UGH. The drama just keeps escalating over this one stupid auction...

It's all I can do not to step in and tell people to STFU and get over themselves but I would never do something like that because I'm too nice and it would just escalate things even more so. /sigh

It's just... My god... Move on! PMed offers are accepted in auctions ALL THE DARN TIME. It's happened to me on COUNTLESS occasions (one just this last week) and will happen to me again I'm sure. If the auction rules do not state that the owner is adverse to PM offers, then you are free to PM an offer and the owner is free to choose whatever offer they want. It's their darn dragon after all. They can do whatever the hell they want with it. Also, please for the love of all that's holy, quit raging at the owner. You've already made the poor lady break down and cry. I hope that makes you feel real good about yourselves.

God d@mn. So many horrible people making it onto my blacklist this weekend. Oh well, good to see everyone's true colors coming out because of this one silly dragon. A few I even thought were friends. Huh. Surprise, surprise I guess. I just hate it when people can do X to you and it's perfectly OK, but if you do X to them, heaven forbid! Hypocrite much? Anyway... #over it #done with it #moving on to better things

Since Dew and others have asked, here's the full story:

A gen one auction was being held where someone was selling dragons and helping their friend sell a few as well. One of the dragons being auctioned was the exact colors I've been searching a very long time for as a mate to an existing dragon of mine. No where in the auction did it say that the owner was adverse to PM offers. So, I PMed the auctioneer to see if they would pass along a large gem AB offer to their friend who owned the dragon. They responded and gave me the friend's name and told me it was OK to contact the owner directly and give them my offer. So I did so. The lady did not accept my offer and stated she wanted to see where the auction went. I was completely OK with that and said I would just watch the auction and ask for a last day ping then (which I did). Then she PMed me back a bit later and told me she'd looked through my lair and really liked it and that on my profile, she'd noticed that we shared a lot of things in common. We started talking about many of the things we had in common from there (WoW, Star Wars, LoTR, etc) and became quick friends before the day was over.

In the morning I had a message from her stating that she had a really great time conversing with me and that she believed friendships more important than mere pixel dragons and that she wanted to offer the dragon to me. She said the last offer she'd gotten was equivalent to one of the cheaper sprites and an older retired festival item. Both of which I had. She stated that she already had all the sprites, but just found out that a friend of hers was looking to buy one and she was hoping to help. So I said I'd make that deal to help her out with the item she wanted and her friend with the item they'd been searching for. I'm always willing to help friends out and we were both happy! The trade was made and she said she'd inform the auctioneer to remove the dragon because she'd sold it.

That should have been an easy and perfectly happy deal, but she was new to auctions and she'd decided to inform the auctioneer on the sales thread and even mentioned who she'd sold it to and for how much. That's when the crap hit the fan (to put it mildly). People now hate her, hate me, have made this poor girl break down into tears and swear off all future auctions. It's the craziest thing I've ever seen. They're yelling at her because she originally said she wasn't accepting sprites and she'd accepted one. Well, she hadn't had time to edit her thread when she'd found out her friend was after one. She herself, had not been after one. So ya... it's been one horrible horrible mess. I've even been removed from peoples friends lists and blocked over this. It's absolutely ridiculous

But to be honest, in the end, I just feel sorry for the poor owner of the dragon. She's the absolute sweetest person and English isn't even her first language and she just keeps trying to talk to and apologize to all these mean spirited bullies and I personally don't think she owes them anything. I just feel terrible for her. What an absolute mess.
