A lot of Pokémon do lol...my Golurk does, almost all the legendaries do. I think they have to be like 9'+ tall to do it.

I have two Meloetta's if anyone would want to trade for one She isn't transferred yet, and won't transfer until I'm done (I'd rather just transfer everything at once) but it shouldn't be too long

I absolutely love playing with my Rayquaza, Abyss in the amie <3 I caught him in Emerald and my world pretty Mich revolved around him in 3rd and 4th gym. Lvl 94 and still big long green baby whose tempertantrum prone as I imagined him as xD having TONS of fun with my original team whose, for some members, as old as Fire Red. Everyone of them too is just as I pictured. I cant stop loving how my zangoose likes his white ear petted but hates his red ear touched

Soooo... I managed to figure something out just now. According to Serebii, the shiny chance in Gen VI is exactly half of what it was in the previous gens. And again, according to Serebii, the shiny chance in Gen V while using the Masuda Method is 1 in 1,365.3. That's already a decent number, but since Serebii doesn't have any stats up yet for the Masuda Method chance in Gen VI other than 'it's been increased further', I took those numbers and figured out what the chance would be assuming there *wasn't* actually an increase. Or, simply put, I halved the number from Gen V.

... There's a 682 chance of finding a shiny via Masuda Method in Gen VI. And that's without the apparent increase which has yet to be confirmed. That's... that's insane. By default the shiny chance in older gens used to be 1 in 8,192. Now there's the potential of it being as low as 682?! ... Wow. Just... wow.

Although I could've calculated something wrong or misjudged something of course, I'm crappy with maths, but it would be great if anyone could confirm this.

Eh, the shiny chance doesn't guarantee you a shiny though. There's still plenty of chance for you to end up going over 1,000 eggs. It took 700+ eggs for me to hatch my Vulpix. It took 65 for Charmander. It's all down to luck in the end, some people get plenty of it and some get none.

Of course though, there's always the chance that the Masuda Method wasn't halved even though the base shiny chance was. So until anything's confirmed properly I'm not even going to consider my own theory to be correct. All I know is before X & Y, I'd seen *one* shiny that I hunted for months for. In X, I've found four shinies myself thus far, two by accident. The shiny chance was already confirmed to be increased at the very least.

In other news, I now have my Vaporeon, Flareon and Jolteon babies sorted and raised. I just need to EV train Flareon and then I'm done. But I did a few random battles with people and Vaporeon and Jolteon both completely kicked ass! Though one battle felt like a bit of a cheap win as someone had a Lugia and kept trying to use water attacks against my Water Absorb Vaporeon. o.O I thought they would've learned after the first attack, but no.
