HOLY &^@# GUYS



I logged on right as servers went up and my guildmate was screaming that the warlords were already up. We attempted to two-man him, with a pet tank and moonkin heal, but random zone adds gave us trouble. Luckily another guildy signed on and we had a dedicated healer (and a human rogue who kept accidentally pulling the spirits on my pet and killing it (I'm giving him benefit of the doubt)), three-manned, and WOAHHHHW OAAHAHGGHDGhjgdhjsghjf? AND THEN I WON THE ROLLL and then we killed all but one of the spawned warlords (we were beaten to one) and no other mounts for guildies. But I would love to keep trying!

I THINK I'VE USED UP ALL OF MY LUCK THIS ENTIRE EXPANSION AND POSSIBLY MY LIFE.

Awesome! Congrats! But can someone explain this to me? I mean, I thought those guys were rare spawns or something and killing 14 in one day doesn't really make them sound very rare. o:

I know the Zandalari SCOUTS seemed to have really wonky spawn timers; we had one keep respawning while trying to take down the first (the lucky) Warlord. All five Warlords were up when servers came up yesterday. It's possible they might be like the Pandaria/5.1 rares and respawn every hour... I haven't really checked.

But aaaahhhh. There was a server restart shortly after and I had a silent freakout that it was going to roll-back to before I got it. Buuuut thankfully that didn't happen.

I think on patch days they tweak respawn times so everyone gets a taste and then reset the spawn timers. The ones on the Island were super quick too and all the horde on my server just swarmed from one point to the next.

Yeah I know, it was weird, though I literally logged on the minute the realm came online (at 3am <.<). They were just insta spawning as soon as the last one dropped.

That said, they are definitely back to a rare..er spawn now. Waited for just under an hour for one last night. I'm not sure why they were but I was going to make hay while the sun shone and just kept at them til they no longer spawned. Unfortunately I didn’t see a mount anyway. Another in my guild is up to just over 50 kills (in fact I think that’s all he's been doing ) and is yet to see a mount drop either.

So as much as these rare spawns may not be super rare, the low mount chance makes up for it

Love my boyfriend so much for keeping me entertained while camping these <3! I love sitting somewhere all day and ppl show up right before spawn and tag it ._....But the wait was worth it ^.^! Now for the others!

Not a new mount for me, but I just had incredible luck with a group of guildies o.o we're farming the zandalari warbringers by all camping at different spawn points... We just had three kills in a row WHICH ALL HAD MOUNTS, Slate, Amber and Slate again. I passed the Amber one since it's the last one I need but I do already have two (one with said guildies, one while soloing) and one of us still had none... But I'm hoping this luck continues when the next Amber one spawns

Last night was extremely good for me in terms of new mounts.

I put a bit over 30k on each of them. :) Still left me with over 40k gold though.
