*ahem* Well the night elf looks kind of weird to me overall. the ears are meh, something about her upper body seems a little weird to me but I cant put my finger on it. But I see a lot of promising stuff too. Like have you see each of her fingers move when she was casting a spell? I got way too excited over that. And since this is a scrapped version, I think they are on the right path. They know what needed to be fixed and are working hard to make sure they are happy with the end product. Super excited to see the end result.

I don't think anyone was really upset about the Night Elf's, yes it is a "scrapped" version, but I don't see anything to warrant people to say "chill".

I would like to believe, most people know to take most models at this moment with a grain of salt until Blizz actually releases the model publically and states, "THIS IS NEW MODEL. DEAL WITH IT." 8-)

So far, I *personally* think Blizz has done an AMAZING job on all the new models so far and I really, REALLY enjoy it. So...there.

There were a few tearing it apart, thus the need for 'chill'. It wasn't demeaning or anything. Just a reminder and notification due to the model being scrapped. Plus no point in ripping apart a model that's been scrapped, eh?

No sarcasm intended or implied. The only animations that look better are the facial expressions which I really don't care about. For detail, just look at the hair. The new hair just looks flat and blurred compared to the old. The decorations on the braids and horns are also better on the old model. The new Tauren just look softer and less intimidating than the old.

Err....what? The current tauren hair looks HIDEOUS. It's just an ugly mess that seems done using MS Paint, I really don't understand how you can find the old one better And current tauren horns don't have decorations at all (well if you're talking about those ugly golden things 1-2 variations have...)

I stand by what I said. The current hair looks better and the hump on the new model's back is also way too big. The hair on the new one looks too soft and styled and has less detail in it. The old hair looks rumpled and disheveled like it should. My least favorite part of my Tauren Druid was his hump and now it's going to be bigger?

The old version shown in the comparison pictures has rings on the horns and much better looking braids.

Fraznak at SoL (a trustworthy person who hasn't been wrong about ArtCraft dates before) mentioned that we'll see another ArtCraft tomorrow. This one named "Daughter of Argus" and focused on the Draenei female model.


So while I wouldn't take it for a fact and get disappointed when it doesn't happen, Fraznak is worthy of trust, so we might have something nice to chew on tomorrow. I just caution people not to expect it to happen undoubtedly, because anything might happen.

I'm excited to have all the new models, same-face syndrome or not.

I don't really see any argument against them valid, since it's been NINE YEARS since WoW came out. They might also be keeping them the same face with different textures to save people with crappy/old computers the hassle of upgrading a ton just to play the same game. I know there are some bigger overhauls going on right now for WoD, but they're stilling trying to keep it cartoony/low res so a lot of people can continue playing unhindered.

They only look weird because now they'll actually look like the official Blizzard art! <3

I mean, if you want realistic and different faces, just play ESO or GW2. But WoW will always be a cartoony version of WARHAMMER to me. (I mean, come on, they were originally commissioned to make a Warhammer game, and then Blizzard goes "Let's make our own." and then we got WC 1-3, SC 1-2, Diablo 1-3, WoW, Hearthstone, and the upcoming Heroes of the Storm.)
