Ooh, that's awesome! ^^ Must be so nice to see him tamed in person.

It really is!

Now I'll be able to look around Dalaran and say "yep, that's another Krush I helped bring into the world!" I already kinda get the pseudo-parent vibe from my friend's Krush. xD I can't help it; it's one thing to tame him and another to be the midwife, as it were.

And he's the third Krush I've helped with in the past month!
It's just such a rush to be able to pay it forward to others after so many helped me tame Theseus.

Ahaha, too funny!

But adorable nonetheless. ^.^

There's something special about seeing him tamed, cause when you're the one taming him, you don't get to see the dino shrink down really well. But if you're off to the side, you get a clear view!
*on cloud nine; please ignore*

Haha, I know what you mean Kalli. It seems that way with any tame really. When I'm doing the taming I hardly notice anything 'cause I"m too busy shaking. When I'm helping somebody or watching them though, it's so cool to watch! I'm familiar with the process, but it's like a whole new situation at the same time XD

SQUEEEE! I actually GOT a drop!
My luck with drops is terrible, I never EVER get the things I"m looking for, no matter how long I run them. Well today I did Forge of Souls (Heroic) looking for the trinket.
Didn't get the trinket, but I DID get the bracers,
Essence of Suffering. The were a vast improvement to my previous
Giantmaim Bracers so I'm satisfied.
(I also got the
bag which I find deeply amusing

)

Took another big plunge and made my paladin's offspec pvp holy. Go figure, whenever I swear I'll never go a particular spec on a toon, I end up doing it and loving it in the end...which means a TON of regearing and battleground farming, but that's okay. Now I've finally tried all healing classes.

(And I like all of them in their own way. Sigh.

)

Grats to ya both
Let's see....I finally decided to take my first step into Pit of Saron. Just regular, and nothing dropped for me, but I did it and am now familiar with the instance.

It wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting, though the first boss--the Giant? --was a little unusual. Based on what I read on wowwiki it sounded like even ranged were supposed to stand behind him, but nobody in the party did it but me, which was a little puzzling. Oh well. It turned out alright.
Now I just gotta get the time and the nerve to do HoR, and I'll have tackled them all

You were doin' it right; people are just ignoring fight mechanics at this stage of the game because they overgear the instances.
(You meant behind the blocks, right? Not the boss himself?)

No, both. Hiding behind the boulders he throws when he does his forge run thing, but also hiding behind the boss to avoid the stuff he casts in the other phases.
http://www.wowwiki.com/Forgemaster_Garfrost is what I used as my encounter reference. Maaaaaybe I just read it incorrectly, though? It's kinda hard to read encounter suggestions and strategies without actually seeing them...Either way, he went down fairly fast, possibly because of the over-gearing thing.

I'm pretty sure I've never known the proper strategy for that fight, I've always just followed everyone else and it turns out fine.

Ahhh, okay. He has a cone attack! Most tanks face him away from the group anyway, so I'd never even noticed, especially since I don't play melee dps often.

That actually explains why a few melee dps have randomly died, possibly.... You read it fine.
I wouldn't worry as much about staying behind him as I would the boulders, cause the debuff is where the worst damage is.

That's quite an achieve Grys. I could never figure it out myself, even reading the how to's. Good job

Lol, okay, I'll keep that in mind in the future. This tank was everywhere with this guy, so I was freaking out 'cause I kept trying to position appropriately lol. *makes notes for future runs* The boulder part was easy, I chilled behind them but I expected it to take longer....almost as soon as Garfrost ran over to his forges, the tank ran to pick him up. Is THAT normal?

I love that fight on my DKs! So much magical damage to soak! I can usually run next to a boulder at about eleven stacks, pop AMS and machinegun Death Coils and then quickly hiding when AMS ends. It's awesome!

I had a crazy WoW day today. I got the Seeker title, finished the Rhok'delar/Lok'delar quest chain, got some new pants from ICC (although I don't have that yummy 4t9 bonus anymore

), and then Phyra and her wonderful hubby helped me tame Djinn, my void wolf.

Sara was a special kind of lucky today.
Also, I'm ~160 quests from Loremaster!! O_O

Finally, I have achieved my long-desired goal of getting a second character to Northrend!!!
Over the weekend I dedicated myself to reaching level 68 on Misty, my Paladin. It was a little grueling at times because I was so impatient to just finish up my straggling Outland quests (and I dislike Outland to begin with), but I seemed to have a sort of tunnel vision that kept me motivated and I just kept plowing through. Yesterday evening I was finally able to say goodbye to Outland and move on to my favourite continent. ^_^
Taking my firsts steps into Howling Fjord again was just a thrilling experience, knowing that I had all of Northrend to look forward to again. I love the quests so much and have been craving to do them over again, so now I'll be slowing my frantic levelling place and just leisurely making my way to 80 while enjoying the awesome content once more.
Oh, last night I also went through and did the old quest line for the epic Charger mount. Though now obsolete, I really wanted that Blood Knight Tabard that you get at the end, so I went ahead and completed it. ^^
