Yup always a good thing to google a site to see what kind of reviews they have. I learned that the hard way.

I did, and as I said, I was recommended the site. It has good reviews. It seems like I just got really unlucky and caught them at a bad time or whatever. Even so, not great customer service. I'm 99% sure I'll get this refund and that it's just taking them a while to get around to it, apparently they've been having email issues too which isn't great. It's just it shouldn't be taking them this long to do something so simple.
In other news, I'm thinking about signing up for season 3. Eep. Never done any competitive battling before. .___.

I've ordered from them before I think and I didn't have any issues with em.

Exactly, I'm sure they're normally quite reliable, but for my first ever order to go as badly as this? Can't say I'd personally recommend them for smooth transactions anymore.
But there's still Pokévault and PkmnCollectors so there's always that. x'D

WARNING TO THOSE WITH 4th and 5th GEN POKEMON GAMES (including side games....this also seems to go for all DS and Wii games)) Nintendo is TERMINATING online services for all games on these devices on May 20. 3DS and Wii U games uneffected of course. The online features for these will continue to be inaccessible even if you play the game on the 3DS/Wii-u

And that was with, what, a shiny charm and MM? ... This is not making me feel any better about my non-MM hunt for a shiny Kabuto... xD
Beats me though, as it says no where that the shiny charm applies for breeding as well. The flavour text only specifies wild pokemon.

There's ppl looking into whether or not it does. Interestingly...the Japanese flavor text does NOT include the added '...in the wild' part the english version does.
In other news:
While doing the 'friend safari' shiny hunt method for Spiritomb...ended up getting a shiny Shuppet instead.

Yeah, I'm aware of that. It makes me wonder if it counts for eggs too or not, because of that.

Huh, I always just assumed that the shiny charm increased your chances completely for all encountered Pokémon, wild or egg. o:

It did in B2/W2 but now ppl are confused because in the english description for the item in X/Y, they added the text '...in the wild', which is leading ppl to wonder if it works on eggs or not.

I FOUND MY FIRST EVER SHINY (that isn't the red gyarados or dratini from White 2, anyway)
AND IT'S ONE OF MY FAVORITE POKEMON TOO (its last evolution is, anyway)
Ironically enough, after trying out all the methods that increase your chance at finding a shiny, this one was simply while playing the main storyline in Pearl (which I'm replaying to get pokemon to transfer over to X)

Eeeeee congrats Manga and Melissa on your shinies!!
I'm so crazy for Twitch Plays Pokemon Red now I'm writing a story journal-entry style on Red's trip through Kanto and drawing fan art of Twitch Plays Pokemon Crystal

Headcanon is that the Unown are Twitch commands physically manifested by the False Prophet Flareon and the Dome Fossil. Flareon is sorta-kinda-maybe a little insane now and exacting revenge on Twitches newest pawn.
Flareon's kinda like "you want anarchy?
Then have anarchy!" xD
I'm addicted I S2G.

I'm not sure if this has already been brought up (I haven't checked this thread recently!) but there's a super awesome deal Nintendo's doing right now.
http://club2.nintendo.com/3ds-pokemon-promo/
If you register your 3DS/2DS online at Nintendo club and another game you get Pokemon X or Y for
free as a download.
I just did it and got X (I only had the Y game) so now I have both and I'm so excited about starting a new one tonight.

DFHIUPWEGHQUIEGYYGQDWH :0 I just got it all set up but I don't have wifi so I'll have to wait to download it. EEEEEEEEEEEE I CAN GET Y HERMAGEEERRRDDDD. I had Animal Crossing: New Leaf when it first came out (pre-ordered eet) and the Nintendo Club code in the case was valid, much to my surprise (kinda expected that I'd have to buy a valid game during the promo to be eligible) so this is absolutely fabulous!

I don't have any of those games but I don't see why this is such a big deal if you already own one of the games anyway. x'D

I don't really want to get into the big deal but...some of us would have rather waited, and saved that $40. I try to spend as little as possible due to my circumstances, and getting this game for free only a few months after it was released would have been really nice...
