Ahhh, my bad. your right, it doesn't say anywhere on that particular challenge mode that a feint is a death. I am just use to the majority of challenge modes being that feint=death, that I didn't think it wasn't XD
However, since I am looking to really Challenge myself on this one, for me I'll have feint=Death. See, I find when you run the risk of your pokemon "dying" you tend to think more carefully about it situation, and play in a completely different way.

Yea, I know a lot of people put a lot of work into making their runs and trying to set up the perfect team with what they have. I hear often in the pokemon guild on magistream who has a lot of competitive players what all they've done and achieved in their stuff and it sounds so awesome but I'm one of those people who will save like 2-3 times before doing something, even when I'm pretty sure I'm prepared just incase something goes wrong xD

I'm really lost right now, need help from people who download games. Google and Nintendo's support/troubleshooting isn't helping me in the slightest.

I just downloaded Pokemon Y at McDonalds cause it was the only stable wifi and the game said it updated but I clicked OK too fast to read what the window said and I don't have an icon for Pokemon Y to play it. My game, under Settings > Data Management > Downloadable games both shows Pokemon X (which I own as a cartridge) and Pokemon Y. Both are Version 1.2. Clicking on either only shows me how many blocks they take (233) and the option to delete them. But aside from exiting that screen, I'm given no other option to do anything.

I can't see my free Pokemon Y on the Nintendo eShop either, just the $40 priced Pokemon X, Y, and the many other Pokemon games for download on the 3DS. My redeem code also states that it's already been used so I can't reacquire the download that way either (I was hoping that it would at prompt the download screen to come back again but it just kept giving me the error).

I hate downloading games -.-;; I wish that this promo extended to cartridges too.

Edit: I discovered that you can scroll in the Settings/Other in the Nintendo eShop and spent about 45min- an hour ducking around in the stairwell RE-downloading the whole stupid thing cause apparently whatever I downloaded at McDonalds wasn't the mofking game.

Same here, I find the center of Lumiose City to be dull compared to the scenery of Route 7, though I keep my volume down while stockpiling/hatching eggs since I've heard the music there one too many times.

HEY! *steals him back!* You wouldn't want this one, he doesn't have the right nature due to me forgetting to put the Everstone on his father when I stockpiled eggs this time. >_>

Thinking about a Solo run, I think I'm gonna get a poocheyena from my Platinum and trade it over to my SS and do that. Probably will get an egg, speed run to the day care center and then breed myself one I like. If only because SS is one of my favorite games and uh I can be dork and name the two of them after characters of mine. (Evangeline and Karma will live mwahahah)

Should be interesting, to say the least.

So I got my free X and started a Nuzlocke for the first time. I used the optional rule to release your starter, and the first pokemon I picked up was a Pidgy.

...I'm on the first gym. It's still my only pokemon. STOP ONE-HITTING THINGS. ;_; I almost had a Litleo. Heck, I would have taken that Bidoof. But noooo, one hit everything, that's my murderbird. Jealous little beast doesn't want to share the glory, does she?

Try just stocking up on pokeballs and try your luck with unweakened captures.

Stumbled upon a Bunnelby in the next route. Got desperate, just tossed a Great Ball- didn't work. Used Calvin's (my pidgeotto) weakest move- one hit.

*sobs*

At the very least, having one pokemon is making things a little harder. The bug gym actually took potions this time around, and the fight with Sycamore against his starters had poor Calvin down to one health several times.

Now if he'd just... stop... murdering things...

(Calvin is technically a female pidgeotto, which I totally forgot about while naming him. I'm going with "Calvin is a murderbird and doesn't care what pronouns you use so long as you die afterwards.")

I finally caught another pokemon! A ducklett that I named Drake. Got her a few levels, and headed into my first Double Battle.

...And Drake died. Torn apart by Furfrou.

Calvin, after surviving several crits that left him at one health, made it clear that he was sticking around and no other pokemon would ever take his place.

Calvin needs to learn to play nice!

BTW does anyone have an Adament pokemon with synchronize (or whatever its called) ability? or an adament skiddo/gogoat I can borrow for a bit? I need to breed a specific skiddo for my solo game.

I indeed have an adamant Skiddo!

And Pokerant, freaking GTS! All I want is a female Blitzle, why the heck do you people want Deoxys or something for your level one Blitzle!?

I've been running my Y as a solo run (omitting the optional nuzlocke rules) and it's both super fun and super aggravating. I died like three, four times in the bug gym. First was cause you can't buy antidotes so I had to enter without and died to a mix of Vivillon's Infestation and poison... after that it was all Vivillon's fault, it would spend forever using Harden and I had no moves that were at all decent against it, and after a while it would start using Tackle and Infestation, and the leader would give it a Potion so I had to work even haaaaaarder.....

Lucked out finally and it just concentrated on using Tackle with only like, one Infestation and maybe 1-2 Hardens and I was finally able to down it. I had to be like lvl 15 and have a bunch of Potions though to do it x____x So far things have been good, no more deaths and I'm quite capable of going periods of time without healing now against trainers. PP runs out quick though xD
