Can I just be a noob here and ask what a 'solo' run consists of? I mean... Pokémon is a solo game so... *confused* xD

Just one battle-able pokemon can be in your team, with an allowance of two fainted for HM moves :3 You have to choose your pokemon before the 3rd gym and you can't use your starter or any other pokemon anymore for battle. You have to go through the whole game and beat the E4 with that pokemon :3

I was tossing around the idea of Zangoose, who would of been the better choice probably, or Cubone, and I decided to go for the Cubone cause I wanted a wee bit of a challenge since I don't like nuzlocke rules but I know I could easily sweep a good amount of the game with Zangoose. And Cubone's story is really sad, I always wanted to do a story where the Cubone grows up and becomes strong in the absence of its mom and go on to do great things <3

Awesome Kirra, when you free to do a trade? and what would you like? I've got a lot of modest skelp XD and many other types (though I don't think I have any real hidden ability pokemon as I haven't had time to do those hunts yet)

Chimera, I am dreading the first gym for my challenge because of the bug type. Hoping having aerial ace will make it easier...Which pokemon are you using again?

Yeah, the gym leader sucks and I think it was the second trainer I went to poke for the exp who poisoned me D: Happy that I'm not bothered by Bug type or things would of been really nasty but poor Skiddo could be in trouble D: Be sure to stock up on Potions!

I'm using a female Cubone named Topaz ^_^ She's lvl 21 and I'm in Camphrier Town. I kinda got here, healed, and took a break for the rest of the night and haven't left town yet since turning the DS on today xD

I've always struggled with grass types, there just always seems to be a lot of things that hurt them...probably why they get so many heal abilities XD So it will be interesting trying to solo Nuz with a skiddo.

Solo run? Huh...That's how I used to play Pokemon XD Me and Charzy I'll probably try it on a different game (I can't bring myself to play through X or Y again x.x) after I finish the Pokedex. Started playing through Plat again so I could get the gen 4 Pokemon that I'm missing. UUGHH!! I hate it. I keep telling myself it's not that bad. Grotle is pretty cool. But, then I start playing and I start dying on the inside because UUGH gen 4. It actually turned me away from Pokemon for a good while. Good thing they released SS and HG before gen 5, or I might have never tried Black or anything after it x.x

If I did a solo run on X or Y, I honestly think it'd be with a Tyrunt XD I can't stop obsessing over it!! I need a stuffed one, it's so adorable!! but I like the thought of doing it with a Cubone or Zangoose too I absolutely love those two, yet I've never really used them (yet. I hope to soon)

What does Ninetails do in Amie? I really need to use that more, probably would except every single time I do, I have a near 4yr old trying to climb into my lap going "Can I pet the pokemon now? please, please?? Ohhh, lets feed it!!!" lol.

Also, I looked into Twitch Plays Pokemon and...what's so great about it?? Honestly

I don't watch TPP much myself, as I find the stream to be pretty boring, but I like watching the blogs/art about it. ^.^ I find it to be a neat sort of community/storytelling effort. The fact that so many people playing at the same time can still beat the game, the really unusual things that happen (the great culls, the amazing story of ATV, the Helix Fossil), the stories that emerge out of repeated actions or random words- it's just fascinating stuff. I love how people made the False Prophet into a villain despite it just being a random pokemon. I love how people made the Helix Fossil into a god. I just find the storytelling to be fascinating, because for the first game there were in general 70k+ people participating and yet they all worked together and made a legend.

I dunno, I just find large-scale efforts like that to be really, really cool.

Caught another pokemon on my Nuzlocke- a Meditite. I'm hoping this one survives! He's not... very good yet... but this means I have a pokemon that can Mega Evolve, which I've never really done before. And Mega Medicham is pretty cool.

I nearly have every berry in game XD Just two more hybrids to make and one random purple one that I have yet to find the tree for O.o

I have finally gotten access to all pokemon in Friend Safari! Yaaay!

My fiance's safari is Poison type so yes it does exist.
