Watched Paprika, a particularly bizzare anime. It screwed up my mind enough to let me eat solid food for the first time in over three weeks! Can't eat anything now- but damn, it was fantastic while it lasted.

We made an hour and a half trip (one way) to take Taffy to the vet's at 11.11 last night. We got up there at about one, and they were able to tell us that her uterus was infected. She's had to have surgery and, for a while there, they were also worried she had cancer. She's made it through surgery just fine and they did not find any cancer in her chest (the most common place for a female dog to start showing signs of cancer). We're going to be allowed to go back up and take her home in just a few days.

I'll admit, though, when we got the call about halfway home that they thought she might have cancer I broke down. I sobbed the entire way home. I didn't get home until four and I was woken up some time later by my mom calling to say that they didn't find any cancer. I was woken up again at a later time by the vet calling to say she'd made it through surgery just fine. He was surprised, because she's nine and he said a lot of older dogs don't make it through surgery.

I still can't stop crying, though.

EDIT; On another happy note: Woah, The Consolation Corner got stickied real fast. Definitely glad to see that!

Yay after a long break from making random art (not counting the quick but oh so gorgeous pic of a dark phoenix i made with a pic from google and much appreciated tutorial training from Methuselah), ive created a signature that i am really in love with (its of my troll druid Zantaga and her Frostwolf Howler... being feral its hard for be to rack up honor so i didnt get my frostwolf till lvl 48 qq)

Took me almost 2 hours to figure out a background, positions, and trying to get them to work with eachother @_@ had to overlap the troll sitting-ground and the troll emote-kiss also cause i think the manipulation of the bodies is for all those crazy expensive programs i just use a free and fairly basic program thats just a mishmash of MS Paint and Photoshop (i swear, GIMP will drive me to insanity)

Lol no i dont use GIMP, i tried and my brain was so fried i has to veggie out infront of the TV the rest of the night one time >< I use Paint.Net, free program, been using it for a few years now <3 i luv it but i only know probably a fraction of its capabilities (i have no idea how to get/use plugins unless a download link and instructions is placed infront of me LOL)

Aaaaah. Yeah, gimp is just a big pile of arghhhhh. I use SAI (though now that I have a mac I don't use anything because dagnabbit I want SAI back). :1

I've never heard of paint.net! I'll have to look it up!

Ahaha, I got SAI for free. But I'm a horrible person and downloaded a hacked version (I can PM you the url, if you'd really like). But you can get a free 31 day trial on the official site. It's 50$ after that, though, unless you get a crack/whatever you want to call it. After the 31 days you won't be able to save anything. :1
