seriously beginning to question people's literacy in the dragons wanted forum

I want to name two of my dragons Almanzo & Laura ( The little house on the prairie . the books not the movie) but how can you have dragons who are vicious named after something so old fashion ... hmm

Old fashioned doesn't mean they weren't mean or "vicious" back then. Though yes, I know the Little House on the Prairie stories and that particular family wasn't mean spirited. However, there's nothing dictating that dragons need to be mean or vicious either (unless they're dracos, in which case, those names are too soft for dracos anyhow xD).

Problem is that my dragon LOOKS sinister as i like that look.. Laura Ingalls-Wilder does not have spiderwebs around her, broken wings and hole in her body... heh though my Ann Shirley dragon isnt a "butterfly and puppies" dragon either so maybe it will work?

The cost of lair expansions.. glare...i got one too go but man soo expensive..

Honestly, I think if they're names you like, then just give them to your dragons; they don't have to exactly match the personalities of the people they're named after.

I completely forgot about NoTN and i'm completely broke. I literally have less than 10k to my name right now. I'm so upset. I know it's not just a one day thing but I really just.. Ugh.

And I'm tired of being passed over for dragons and I'm tired of missing out on dragons I like because I'm always sick, tired and depressed and can't be on all the time.
And no, this isn't a vague about anyone, I'm just complaining about my own misfortune.


Also: I SWEAR this WC I have was RTB when I bought her but now I notice she has 17 days left and now the male I have is RTB and SHE isn't. I'm so confused. I could of bloody sworn she was. I give up

I hear you Peri! That's why I try to do random.org rolls on some of my dragons. I was starting to notice that it was unfair to do first come first serve sometimes when some people are on more often than others. Especially when I have a one bog hatch. So I do try to give time for more than one person to speak up if interested. I hope my pair hatches a triple pearl boy for you next time! You're first on the list for him if they do! <3

As for my rant... I love NoN, but I hate the lag that comes with it. Just got error messages galore for 10 straight minutes. ARGH. I really wish they'd prepare more for this event every year. It always seems to crash their servers. Also, it probably didn't help to have a welcome week right before it either. Ugh.

My Internet is already doing poorly thanks to all the cold, snow and wind we're getting. Now NotN is just starting (at the end of a registration week, too!) and there's so many people on the lag is terrible. I just want to go farm the Waterway for chests and a cape ;_; But no! The Coli takes 20 minutes to load. Each battle takes forever.
Augh.

Okay. Things have been decent with my chest farming today up until now... I jump between venues both for variety's sake and to stock up on the different NotN items for Swipp and am on my 2nd bout in Rainsong Jungle. Except now I'm noticing that mobs I was one-shotting with eliminate this morning are now either clinging on with a sliver of health so small you can't see it or simply not taking the full hit any more. What gives?

EDIT: Reloaded the venue and things are dying properly again. Guess my team's stats didn't load correctly or something?

EDIT: Well I'm just silly and blind, ignore this;;;

I can see her just fine. They increased the number of dragons per page, so there's now another row on the bottom. Make sure you scroll all the way down. ^^;

....oh my god.

I feel so stupid. I had no idea they did that, and it just so happens the 3 rows were always what fit perfectly on my screen, I never even thought to scroll down. *facepalms*

It's ok, lol! I often forget the extra row exists too.. they changed it awhile ago, but I'm still not 100% used to the change either. Doesn't help I'm not as active as I used to be. Still love my dragons but can't handle all the daily chores/festival grinds.

Yeah, I haven't touched the site in...a long time. I still love my dragons but now that most of them are gened/appareled I can just kind of sit back and admire them, I don't have time to do dailies or anything either so I have no way to really make treasure, and I'm not invested enough in the site as it is to work toward it, so I'm very, very casual. I saw that it was the Nocturne event though so I figured it couldn't hurt to do some chest gathering this week when I remember.

Well, that new Haunted Flame stuff that you can get from Baldwin's is definitely living up to its name... it's haunting me for slacking on caring about Baldwin shit at all ><

Two days gathering, zero chests. Not even on the 30 turn day did I get one. I don't have anything like enough mats to make them either.

I'm remembering now why I hate NoN as much as I love it. I stress out over people hatching the colors I collect and having to go through the tedious process of typing up email inquiries and getting shot down more times then not. It's rather depressing actually. I just got denied a chance at a dragon that is so close to my ultimate dream dragon that I could cry. Ugh. Somedays I seriously consider auctioning off my whole lair just to get away from G1 collecting for good. It's really more stress than it's worth.

I have next to no treasure left and I forgot about the treasure apparel bundles. But between computer issues and general hate for the coli I have little drive to farm/level and exalt dragons. But I want to do my usual post-NotN giveaway... *Flops*

People that offer you a dragon, then renege when they get other interest or suddenly decide to keep. Please don't offer dragons if you don't plan to follow through with that offer. I keep getting my hopes dashed due to greedy/selfish people. Story of my NoN this year...
